  2. Oh Cool, Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease take me with you. I need to go away to, I promise I won't speak, I'll just sit there.
  3. Hey, I'll trade someone a good used teenager for a few dust dunnies!!! You just have to get them to 21, then we'll switch back again. Any takers????
  4. I got your reply green, but not yours Mandi.
  5. Hey green, it's neat your good friends your ex's wife. Wheezy, of course the doc wanted to see you again!!
  6. Oh, thank goodness, I thought I was really losing it:rolleyes: .
  7. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH My daughters guidance office called me today, to tell me that they were calling my daughter down to talk to her about her attendence and guess what, SHE WASN'T THERE!!!!! So now we have to take her car keys away tonight, I'm sure she'll be thrilled. I actually called her boyfriend to tell him that she was going to be in trouble and he was even mad when he heard, so I think I have him on board too. So that's good. Why are teens so DUMB!!! Thank you to all for letting me air my dirty laundry. It actually helps to talk to people who've been threw it, as a parent or as a teen! , Thanks!!
  8. I think you might find that a little wine at 4 weeks will be fine. But always check with your Docter first.
  9. Okay, something weird is going on around here!!!!! I posted a whole lotta stuff here the other day and now it's gone. I even sent a 9,000 page pm to mandi and there's no record of it. I'm sure I posted here yesterday to tell you all that I was going to Dr. Cobourn's on Monday for a fill. If any of you's guys see that anywhere, do you wanna let me know. I feel like I'm losing it. As for the PM Mandi, forget it, it wasn't really important and I'm not typing it all again, LOL. So ya, fill on Monday!!!
  10. Awwe, thanks neenaugh. I have to say , I'm pretty happy. Except recently I have had this thorn in my side called a TEENAGER!!. I'm sure surgery will remove it someday. lol
  11. lunges are brutal. when i was working out at a gym, I could do all excersizes, but when it came to lunges I literally got naseaus. i think someone told me once that it is because your thigh is such a massive muscle.
  12. Yeah, I'm sure you'll do fine, but yes, starting to build muscle might through thing out of whack temporarly.
  13. Im soooo overwhelmed with everybodys help!!! It helps just knowing we all went threw it and survived. Thanks for all the info, really I feel better just reading all the replies, I might even go back and read them all again. I think I will have a conversation with the idiot, oops, I mean boyfriend. Hopefully that will help. Everyone I talk to tells me how wonderful she is when shes at work or just out without us. So I hope thats a good sign. I have always been the more strick parent. Consequences for actions-be it good or bad. I should try to continue with that if I can. It really does break your heart seeing her make these dumb decisions with the cocky little attitude, and all I can think of is 'God, I sound just like my mother', and I hate that!! Keep the good ideas rolling, thank-you, thank-you to all, and cross your fingers for me!!! and her.
  14. Okay funny/not-so-funny Hallowe'en storey. Okay so I drive a school bus. Before I left my house tonight I was really thirsty and had no water bottles left so I grabbed a green gator-aid. So I pull into the school around 3:15. My bus is the bus that sits right in front of the doors. I am sitting there and I take off the lid, cause I'm really thirsty and I don't want to just suck it threw that stupid little hole on top. So I guzzle down about 2 mouthfuls, and by the third mouthful, my mouth is full and I cannot swallow, I'm stuck. So I thought I'd just sit there for a minute with my cheeks full of gator-aid and wait it out, then swallow. So Five minutes go by, still stuck. All of a sudden I realize I'm gonna slime. I have 2 kleenex's left , not enough to catch what's coming up, let alone what's still in my mouth. There are parents sitting in cars all around me so I can't leave my bus. So I try to aim for the empty kleenex box, but that dosent even catch it all, all the time kids could show up at my door any minute. So this flouresent green slime comes pouring out of my mouth in true hallowe'en style!!!!!!!! I had 2 kleenex's to try to get the rest of the mess. I thought fellow bandsters would appreciate this sliming episode, ironically on halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. careful wheezy, the more you pb the more chance of complications, just keep an eye, we want you healthy!!!
  16. Awe, neenaugh that is sooo cute!!! Oh, Yoda, here I was thinking that was your real name!!!!! Okay, Cloe is the name of my favourtie ewe. Out of 450 sheep, she would always come over to me. Sometimes when we are lambing out in the barn for hours, I'd be sitting in the middle of the pen resting, she'd come over to me and start rubbing and scratching herself on my shoulder, and she loved being pet. She would eat chips, crackers, anything I brought her. She is also the fattest ewe we have, so we have something in common.
  17. Way to go guys!!!!! You've all done so great!!! Mandi we'll hear from you tommorow. I didn't reach my goal either, but I'm still okay with it. Good Luck all on the Christmas challenge!!
  18. The cream always rises to the top Wheezy. Be the great person you are, and be vigilant with the women, people will evenually notice.
  19. Our home has always been a good place for her. Her friends all love us, some of them come over to see us even when shes not here. I have tried to talk adult to adult, no shouting, when I say I'd like to see 'this and that' she shouts she's gonna leave, then I say okay this is how we feel, you make a mature decision to help us out, then she shouts 'your the parents, make a decision!'. You can't win for losing. Her dad and I have been married 18 years, no abuses, no out of the ordinary fighting, just a loving family, all 3 of the kids have always gotten along. I know there is a rebellious stage, I anticipated it, but this is crazy. We invite the boyfriend over always, but they prefer to go there, to be alone I assume. We are friendly to him, even though I wish he'd fall of the earth.lol. I dunno??? Jodie - way to go in the 100's, awesome. Thank you also for your advice, it's neat to hear from someone who is close to my daughters age. Thanx.
  20. Oh my goodness, thanx for the response. Yes we know, the first thing my husband and I said was 'what is a 21 yr old doing with a 17 year old'!!! We actually went nuts at first, banned her from seeing him, ya right, like that works!! Then we decided to be real nice, let him in and get to know him. Anyway, he's alright I guess, very immature, drives us nuts, but I don't think he'd hurt anyone, at least a girl anyway. She saved her money and bought a car, she got her own insurance, and aside from school books, basic clothes, haircuts, that kinda stuff, she pays for stuff on her own. She gets no actual cash from us. But if she isn't working at school at her full potential at this point, then she's wasting everyones time. She has a younger brother and a sister and she is demanding all our time right now, how is that fair? Oh, and the university she was planning on attending was here here in our city, so she wasn't actually going to move away, so I don't know how that could work now.
  21. Yeah, blood flow is good, good for you green!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:clap2:
  22. P.S. I hate teenagers!!!:frusty:
  23. :cry I need some advice. I won't get into too much detail but here goes. I have a beautiful, smart, 17 yr old teen daughter. She is in grade 12 and works part time. Up until about 4-5 months ago she was going to attend university and eventualy be a teacher. About 7 months ago she started dating a 21 yr old, who hasnt graduated, has a record, and lives on his own. He does however work, and seems to treat her fairly well.....The problem. She now skips school quite a bit, isn't studying, passing her classes but not trying, since buying a vechicle only comes home when we tell her she must. Now she is saying she may or may not go to university now, and anytime we give her tightened restrictions she just rebells and says she's been asked to move with her boyfriend and she's gonna leave. So I need advice !!
  24. Green, your life seems so cool. I'm terrified to walk around downtown T.O. I think it would be soooo cool to spend a weekend walking around the little shops, the problem is that when I get out on the street I'm afraid to go in some of them. How can you tell a good shop from a creepy one. I know, I know, I'm sounding very hick like. Every year my husband and I come down in Feb. He has to go to some convention for council. We stay at the sheraton, and his meetings are at the hotel, Royal York, we walk in the underground mall thingy to get to it. I can get to the eaton centre from there too. But I'm always scared to come out to the street. Any advice to citify me???
  25. Wheezy, you are wonderwomen!!!! I will try, and let you know, thanx!!
