  1. Someone please help me get back on track! I have lost a total of 83 lbs in 6 months. I have found that I am getting into old behaviors again with drinking sugary coffees and eating sweets. I want to lose about 10-15 more lbs!!! I don't always get my fluid intake in nor my protein. Please help. If i get back on track will i continue looking weight? Or is this where my body is done loosing weight? I'm 5'3 and I am currently 135lbs. I've been at a stall for a good month. Sent from my SM-S727VL using BariatricPal mobile app

How long between bites of food?

This is the rule my surgeon told me and it works. 30-30-30 don't drink nothing 30 min before a meal, take 30 min to eat a meal and don't drink nothing 30 min after a meal. It's different but effective! Sent from my SM-S727VL using BariatricPal mobile app
  4. As far as taking your pain meds are you crushing it up and putting it in a little medicine cup mixed with water? That's what I did. It taste nasty because I had to sip it but it worked for me. Sent from my SM-S727VL using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. I had my sleeve done Nov 2018 and all I remember my surgeon telling me is to drink water nothing but water and if I can get the protein shakes in great if not then water. You have to sip. It's not like it use to be where we could just gulp our food and drinks down. It takes time. As far as the pain I remember taking pain meds for atleast a week, mind you I had a major surgery at 13 weeks pregnant where I was cut from my belly button all the way down and didn't take 1 pain medicine because of my baby. But in this case I had to. It hurt to cough, and get out of bed and even car rides that's why I slept on the couch for atleast a good 2 weeks. And make sure to get up and walk about 10 min every hour it will help with the gas in your belly. It does get so much easier and you did an awesome job making the choice to have the surgery. At this point eating is not a priority. Sipping water, walking frequently are important. And of course try to sip on your protein shakes. You won't be able to drink 64 oz and have 3 shakes a day but it is the goal. You will eventually be able to do it. Sent from my SM-S727VL using BariatricPal mobile app

    feeling cold..

I'm always wearing a light jacket everywhere. Even when it's 75 degrees out. Lol and at home I have a heated blanket that I snuggle with while on the couch. I am ALWAYS cold! Sent from my SM-S727VL using BariatricPal mobile app

    Carbonated drinks

I have moments of wanting to drink a pop and have to tell myself not to do it. If i ear something that makes me have the craving I'll drink gatorade zero for a taste to make it go away. The doctors told me not to drink anything carbonated because it can cause it to stretch back out and plus you will have discomfort. Sent from my SM-S727VL using BariatricPal mobile app

Thanks for the response. I was working out for a week with doing some weight training but I was thinking i want the number on the scale to drop. But now I realize that isn't always a good thing to think. Your right muscle is smaller than fat. Do you think doing a 24 hr liquid diet would helpbget rid of the sugary stuff I put in my body? I also have been eating more carbs lately too[emoji17][emoji53] Sent from my SM-S727VL using BariatricPal mobile app
