  1. Lol!!!![emoji1][emoji1][emoji1] I felt the same after my first class years ago and for a long time gave that spin studio the side eye and a wide berth! I was forced back by 2 friends 2 years ago, after they supported me through my first week of butt pain, I've NEVER left!! The endorphins of spin is like none other!!!! I'm energized for the rest of the day! So keep at it, especially when you find an inspiring teacher, it can almost mimic a cleansing spiritual experience!! I love it so much. It rescues from some dark days! Cheers and enjoy![emoji7][emoji7]
  2. Just hearing you mention preop diet for we August peeps made so freaking excited!!! I can't wait! Good luck and we'll be cheering you early August birds on!![emoji114][emoji114]
  3. I just placed an order for the instapot today on Amazon. My nutritionist just mentioned it at my appointment today!
  4. I have an AirFryer and it's truly a game changer! Makes Brussels sprouts the crispiest (if that's a word!) I've ever tasted! Yum. When I think of all those years deep frying, I shudder!
  5. Wow!! Wow!!! Wow!!! You guys ALL look absolutely fabulous!! Well done on such hard work! Very encouraging!
  6. My family and I travel a lot!! It's probably the most expensive item in our budget but cutting it out is not an option. That said, it sucks coming home and looking through the pictures and realizing I purposefully avoided having my pictures by being the photographer or taking the least amount of pictures. Or, taking mostly selfies (because as the annoying phrase goes, she's got a cute face[emoji57]) and no body snaps. Anyway, just an absolute vain desire to have a scrapbook of a wonderful locale with my face and body ALL over it[emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]
  7. Congratulations!!!! Wishing you a wonderful recovery and weight loss journey [emoji112][emoji112]
  8. The unconscious bias is very present and sad!! We live in a very weight conscious (not looks conscious as anyone can be beautiful at any size!) society and nothing any advertising companies are doing has convinced me otherwise! The bias is so deep and severe one occasionally have to catch their breath when faced with it. Congratulations on your success!! So happy for your NSV! It's heartwarming. You hubs better get those rings resized ASAP!!! [emoji1][emoji1]
  9. Awesome and inspiring!!! Well done!![emoji114][emoji114][emoji106]
  10. Me tooo!!! I live in AZ so being cold works![emoji28][emoji1]
  11. Thanks so much!! My surgeon wanted at least 6 weeks wait so the stomach gets a chance to heal and prevent a leak. I wanted an August date to get summer out of the way. Good luck as well and I will be watching out for your progress while keeping you updated![emoji253][emoji253]
  12. Honestly less pain for me this time around. I remember being ridiculously exhausted for a few weeks after the insertion. With the removal, I had it done on a Friday and I went back to work on Sunday and never stopped. I was just relieved to have the band out! Looking forward to the sleeve and I truly believe the band has emotionally/mentally prepared me for the sleeve so I can be thankful for the band about that. I just feel I am going into this surgery better equipped....we'll see.
  13. India and Indonesia!! I envision me shopping for my clothes effortlessly, looking extremely chic in all pictures and being able to keep up with the tour guide[emoji114][emoji114][emoji114]??
  14. Thanks for your generousity!!! Will be using it! Surgery date is August 16th Plan to use it for myself July 1st (my birthday and also "get ridiculous serious day"). All food funerals will be concluded [emoji17][emoji57]
  15. Welcome to the club!!!!![emoji122][emoji122] Band removed May 3rd Sleeve surgery August 16th! Can't wait.
  16. Just looking in the mirror and seeing what I imagined I would NEVER see in this lifetime! Me being slender!!
  17. Were these adults talking to your daughter or her peers? If those adults, so so inappropriate and sick! But I admire your ability to gain insight from your loved ones. I second Healthy_life's opinion about knowing what you need to do and grabbing the bull by the horns to address them. Another month of losing such as this month does not appear to be a good thing based on how you feel right now. You have come a long way and your journey has been inspiring for me personally. Your avatar and your matter of fact attitude reminds me of my favorite 90s MTV animated series "Daria" (probably dating myself [emoji1]). That journey has made you rightfully scared of going back but this is where you trust yourself and your commitment to staying healthy. Difficult at first but you have your surgical team/nutritionist to guide you just like you did for the weight loss journey. Time to let go of fear which is not the same thing as lack of being vigilant. Good luck and I remain inspired[emoji106][emoji106]
  18. Congratulations to all my August Buddies!!! We are going to ROCK this!!![emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  19. So happy for you!! I can't wait to join you!! Please keep us posted!!!!
  20. Lol!! I'm sorry that made me laugh! I'm very proud of your sense of humor about dear husband's lack of discretion!!! Good luck with your insurance, fingers crossed for you!
  21. This is truly appreciated. I was just about to stop at CVS to get the bane of my existence Wethers caramel filled candy "just this last time "!!! And I used this exercise and it worked. Going to cram it into my brain!!
  22. Hello Maura, I tried to PM you but it was saying "module not supported "[emoji57] Below is my message: Hello Maura, the name and number of the person who helped me at Aetna is: Sarah: 959 299 0231. Not sure if your particular policy will be under her jurisdiction but it's worth the try. Please keep me posted! Good luck!
  23. Congratulations!! I'm so glad to hear everything is going well! I've been thinking about you and I so appreciate the update and can't wait to join you! Take care and I wish you a very successful weight loss journey! Hugs.
