stomach discomfort with eating
1 month out, on soft foods as well... for me its intense gas pains that start after the first swallow. It makes it so uncomfortable to eat that eventually I'm like screw it. Do these pains go away as well. It's making me HATE food. Now I know we are supposed to have a new relationship with food but I dont look forward to eating anymore to be honest

Muscle pain
I know this is an old post but any advise? I am having sharp pains by my largest incision and it started after I turned the wrong way in bed. It feels like I pulled a muscle.

Pre-Op to Post-Op - my recent journey
I am so glad your surgery went well! Did your doctor tell you how much to walk? Mine told me to walk but wasnt clear how much.. I cannot wait until I am at the pureed stage, my surgery date was 5/20 and I have 2 weeks left of "no bumps no lumps". But I really miss tuna lol

Eating Salad
Scary to me too.. but shes fine and I'm sure her doc has done tons of procedures. My doc is super strict I'm on liquids for 3 weeks then pureed for another 3 weeks. Then soft food for 3 weeks.

figuring out an ultimate goal
Hey you look awesome! I have a goal of getting down AT LEAST 125lbs. Starting weight was 320 so 200lbs for a first goal seems realistic as well as attainable. Once I get there I will reevaluate how i feel and look and then maybe I'll tweak my goal a bit. I was never on any meds like you, but I really like that goal you set. I just want to get to a place where I feel good and I can maintain it too.

Eating Salad
My Bariatric Surgery Book (written/given to me by my surgeon and nutritionist) says that I can eat that one week after my surgery. I had my VSG Surgery on 5/13/19 and have been been eating all of those veggies and fruits since 5/20/19. Everything has gone smoothly for me so far. ?? Omg really?!?!? 1 week?!?! I'm still on liquids &3 weeks later pureed foods so still not solids. I thought it was cause your stomach couldn't handle it??? How did your pouch respond?

What will satisfy my head hunger?!
4-6 weeks I'm SOOOO grateful that the actual hunger is gone or I dont think I would make it lol. I try to change it up from the protein shakes to the chicken broth to give me some variance. &it DEF helps that one day, one day soon I can have that burger. But of course a couple bites lol
