  3. I’m glad you’re feeling well! March Madness definitely helps. I’m back to work tomorrow so I have no choice but to be distracted from the liquid diet. At least the time will pass faster!
  4. So sorry to hear this. Such a huge bummer when all your ducks are in a row and you’re ready. Hang in there
  5. Good for you & good luck with the purées!

  12. I am six days postop and my doctor to cleared me for 2 ounces three times a day of Premier protein shakes. It’s like a damn shot glass three times a day. Crazy that I’m so full after such a small amount. the rest is all clear liquids which is been pretty much water. I don’t tolerate artificial sweeteners that well and the fat free low salt chicken broth was nasty. If you’re walking and getting around well, it’s fine that you don’t have compression stockings at home. I’m planning to go back to work on Thursday and nervous about keeping up the pace without enough energy. Trying to walk a lot more the next couple of days to get me ready. Good luck everyone
  13. Do you mean you are diluting the protein shakes with milk? If so, I definitely think you can do water or there are protein waters/juice made by Premier protein But they have less protein. Be sure you’re taking sips of water every few minutes. You definitely need tons of water as much as you need the protein at this point
  14. My plan only has me on 2oz of Shake 3/day! I am finding getting enough water is what is making me feel better. Just constantly take little sips.
  15. Get the fluids in, just water, A few sips ever 15 mins or so. It will get better

  21. You will do fine! Definitely ask for the scopolamine patch behind your ear and the zofran. Together my nausea (surgery 3/12) was very manageable. Good luck!!
  22. And for sleeping, you can try a body pillow? It can help you prop on your side with less discomfort
