I’m learning to identify hidden triggers pre-op… one of which is my damn phone! How many fast food pizza and restaurant/delivery apps do I have?! 27. This also applies to my email. I just got an email from Taco Bell at 7 am for something and it got me to thinking how hungry I am ( actual stomach hunger) and pondered stopping in my way to work ( something I never do!) so there it is.

I deleted all of those apps from my phone after surgery. Every single one. Now, almost a year out, I've got one of them back, because it's for coffee. Good observation. I tell people about this all the time.

I have been single for 14 years and by choice. Had a daughter to raise. My surgery is set for 7/11/22 and I still don’t think I want to date. I like single life. I am just happy that I will be healthy

I am scheduled for July 7th. I am now doing my 2 week preop meal. I have one problem, 3 days ago on Thursday 6/23, I came down with covid. Feels more like a head cold or sinus issue. I tried calling my doctor on Friday, but no response. I have been eating per meal requirements and drinking plenty of fluids. I more felt like it was the flu. I did a home test and it showed positive. I am sure they are going to push back my surgery and I am so disappointed, I have been working on this since 2019. Two hospitals , 2 doctors later and change of insurance and not to mention I saved and I am now paying cash. I should o expect the delay to be?? Has anyone had this issue. I know my lungs are clear I am using the spiral meter the think you suck air and hold ball in place. I have been rubbing on Vicks. I have been resting a lot and taking it easy.

Being able to buy clothes "off the rack" rather than having to go to a DXL store. It's amazing the difference in cost. When I started the journey I had a 56-inch waist, which non-Big&Tall stores just don't stock.
I've been reluctant to invest a whole lot of money in clothes as I've been losing weight, as ideally I will continue to lose sizes for a bit longer, so why pay for clothes I'll (hopefully) only wear for a couple months. It's like the reverse of being a kid/teenager, when Mom would get frustrated that I outgrew clothes yet again.
However, at some point the old clothes start looking awful, like you're wearing a tent... not to mention heavy and uncomfortable AF. Being in a transition state with sizes and not wanting to spend money, I went to Wal-Mart and bought some $10.97 jeans... first time wearing jeans in over 30 years. Hard to wrap my brain around it... the jeans weren't unbearably uncomfortable. I was able to buy 44-inch waist and now several weeks later, they're already feeling a bit loose. My next shopping trip, it might be 42.
They had a bunch of dress shirts on clearance that rang up at $2. The XL (down from 3XL) fit easily. At that price, who cares if they fall apart in a few washes.
A whole new world: Being able to shop clothing sales and clearance. That hasn't been part of my life in many many decades.

Congratulations!!! You look amazing and the augumentation looks great!! I have yet to have my surgery and I was just talking about when I loose the weight if I should have my breast done. I wear a size F and I know I am going g to loose there first (that has always been the first place I loose my fat) and will more then likely have saggy to your knees results. I thought maybe I was being to vain and should be happy with my results of when I do take off the pounds. Thank you for sharing!

**BEFORE/AFTER PICS!** I met my ultimate goal of 100 lbs. lost today! I'm so happy! It's been quite the journey and is still a struggle almost daily but it feels great to look back at the last 9 1/2 months and see how far we've all come. No more losing for me here forward. Now I can gain a few and be ok as I have a maintenance range of 7 lbs. that I plan to strictly stick to and this is my lowest that I'll go. From a size XXL Tops/18-20 jeans I'm now in size XS/Small Tops and size 4 jeans. I feel amazing and the best part is, I have the energy and can play with my kids with ease. Here, I slid down the slide this week at the park that I got stuck on last year. In celebration, I'll be updating my YouTube channel tomorrow and doing a big GIVEAWAY for anyone interested in subbing and following me along there. Hoping everyone is doing amazing on their journeys!

Boobs take a long time to heal...just like our stomachs. The scars are looking better and they have really dropped and fluffed. Just wanted to post an update. Another before and after. This BL/BA was like the crown on top of sleeve surgery. I highly recommend if you're considering it. I have even more confidence and I didn't think that was possible after the sleeve. Lol

Kendall66 got a reaction from Orchids&Dragons in Question on how you deal with the WLS haters...
It seem people are insecure and jealous that WLS is an option to thos that need it. I am at 49.8 BMI. I am over 50 and have been dieting since to birth of my child 15 years ago. My ex-husband would not support the idea of WLS and of course he is tall and skinny and never been a pound over weight. My we ex-M-I-L was slightly overweight and she gave her negative opinion. Her suggestion was not to over eat. Which made me mad in return, because I didn't over eat. I had a thyroidectomy shortly after giving birth and I have since then always had issues getting the weight off. Now I am no longer married and I made an appointment with the support of my mother and siblings. (Which all but two have had WLS). And I am excited and looking forward to it. I have realized no one's opinion matters except my own and that of my physician's.

I am doing it with my mother and we hold each other accountable. We laugh about it because we think it is to much and always full. It has gotten old as of today. My mom has her surgery in two days. I do not have my date yet. I think it has made it easier for her because I am doing it with her. She has lost 12 lbs on it, myself I have lost 8. So no harm. I am continue to do this diet as long as possible because a ultrasound showed a lot of fatty tissue on my liver. I weighed 287 down to 279. I do however switch up the protein like shrimp or scallops and fish. I love chicken but 2 weeks is to long for same old same. Keep it up! You can do it!

I had a neighbor ask me today about if my mother was having surgery. I was actually taking off guard because this lady gossips and I am one to not gossip or tell anyone’s business. I told her I am not one to talk about anyone’s business ar to gossip. She knows this is how I am so why she asked is because she could not help herself but to ask. I believe it is the individual person to tell someone or not to tell. I did let my mother know about was said. I assume she was listening to our conversation on night on our back porch. ( She is a neighbor). I am a private person and I don’t even tell my mom things or anyone, that is just who I am. I won’t lie, but I would say I have told them exercising and eating a high protein diet like Ketoand leave the question unanswered.

So good for you, and congratulations for if the are curious and maybe even gossiping, it means you look fabulous and working toward your goal of what you wanted. Great job!
