You have two posts about the same topic. It just doesn’t seem like you are ready for WLS. When I decided, there was no doubt in my mind. It sounds like you aren’t there yet

I’m not sure how many people would frequent a support site meant for bariatric surgery patients if they were able to “trick” themselves in this manner.
For most people that have come to the point of needing surgery to help fight our obesity, we have already tried diets, pills, and “tricks”. Surgery is often what we feel is a last resort and not undertaken lightly.
You cannot fool your body into thinking you have had WLS, there are proven metabolic changes that happen.
A liquid preoperative diet is non sustainable for any human, WLS not withstanding.
It sounds like you have a lot of research and thinking to do before you make a decision regarding your health choices. Good luck to you.

They type it in there log in your file. But your calling is not going to change the outcome. They probably only have a few days a month they get there approval board together to look over stuff.

Are you prepared to pay for the surgery if it doesn't get approved? I waited until everything was in place and approved before scheduling surgery.

My doctor does not schedule the surgery until you have completed all requirements and I’m not sure about the insurance because I had approval already and after all requirements a NP reviews everything. Then I think they schedule the surgery. I’m between finished appointments and NP review now. This is the hardest wait time for me. I’m ready for a date so I can get mentally prepared and start a countdown

Nice to know I'm not alone! I'm the same way with lists and planning. Must be some sort of control freak issue LOL So far I've managed to get a lot accomplished to settle my mind like my dietician visits. Normally they don't schedule them out ahead of time, but my girl went ahead and allowed it so now I know exactly when my stuff should be submitted to insurance. I intentionally set the last appt to May 1st in hopes of getting all the insurance crap done by mid-may and in the OR by end of May That helped plan my time off from work which also relieved stress for my boss. So...win win! Fingers crossed for your 2/11 approval
