Favorite Scent of Poo Pourri!
@fluffychix You crack me up! I make my own homemade "poo pourri" with clove essential oil. rubbing alcohol, and water. Not a refreshing scent, but it definitely does the job of covering up the "poo" smell.

PreOp BMI 32 slow weight loss
Well, the weight you "gained" after surgery was post-op fluids from IVs and swelling, it wasn't really a "gain." Next, you've got a low BMI to start with, so your loss isn't going to be as dramatic as someone who starts off with a higher BMI. Finally, sometimes you have to increase calories in order to lose or else your body thinks its in starvation mode.

Snickers
So I'm 8 months out and thought I'd try some ice cream the other day. It made me sicker than a dog! Thank goodness my stomach doesn't like it because that way I won't be tempted to overdue it. I only had 1/2 cup but that was enough.

are these.. baby clothes?
That's funny. I used to travel with a friend who's a lot smaller than me and I'd look at her clothes and think how tiny they were and how mine were so big they took up more room in the suitcase. LOL!

Bored of same ole food
I'm one of the lucky ones, I don't particularly care for food anyway, so I can eat the same thing day after day and not get bored. I just had to give up sweets.

So what are you unable to eat now?
They both give me the "foamies" where you throw up/spit up mucus and your stomach rejects the food. Steak is too dense. Bread is too doughy. Can't eat them.

So what are you unable to eat now?
I can't eat steak or bread.

Will throwing up damage me rny?
I doubt throwing up will damage your pouch, but why are you throwing up? How far post-op are you? Is it nausea? Food? Foamies?

Worried About Post Surgery Complications
First, congratulations on your hard work and weight loss. Second, I'm worried about you. It sounds like an eating disorder or some type of problem. Please follow up with somebody, even if it's a primary care physician, to tell them about your issues.

15 year survivor
I didn't realize you could have a lap band for that long. I thought they were short-term. To be honest, I don't know that much about lap bands.

Cholesterol
Mine went down. Way down. Drastically better and improved.

Fingers swollen in morning
Sounds like you're right. Reduce your sodium intake, increase your water intake. Depending on where you live it's been hot and humid too, so that'll cause some swelling.

December 2018 Sleevers!
Isn't it amazing how fewer creases we have and less sweating we do when we lose weight? Congrats!

A clothing swap forum?
It's a thought, but of course there'd be shipping costs involved because we're all over the place, even if the clothing was offered for free.

Breaking out
No, I didn't. Could be hormone release from surgery?

Post op foods help please
I stuck with sugar free popsicles, sugar free pudding, chicken noodle soup without the noodles, and protein shakes for a long time.
-
Fruit
None. I don't eat fruit at all. Not for any medical reason. I just don't like fruit.
-
Clothing Rollercoaster
I buy $2.00 pieces at the local Thrift store as transition pieces. I'm not spending good money on store-bought clothes until I'm done losing and have reached my permanent size.

Post op 8/15 newbie intro and grhelin ?
That's head hunger, not physical hunger. You have to deal with it because it can be as bad as or worse than physical hunger and cause you to eat bad things.

Eating Meat
I still can't eat steak or pork chops or else I'll get the foamies.

Foods that make you dump
I haven't had any dumping.
