  1. oops it can be done! sorry my typing goof . beef / chicken bouillion/ add spices and fun stuff! your weightloss so far is only a taste of what is coming for you! keep the faith
  2. I feel your pain , my dr made me do liquids for 8 weeks( pre/post op) I CAN BE DONE!!
  3. I have united and had to send them the same thing. its basically just a letter that states your current health issues, mental state, previous attempts at weightloss and I included how my weight daily effects me in all areas of my life. How the surgery would save me and reduce the number of dr's visits for them. To have it would be preventitive and more cost effective. hope this helps goodluck
  4. I was banded on may 13th and am down 30 pnds! I had been talking to some coworkers who had bypass and decided that was too severe for me. The band was the right fit for me and my lifestyle. I decided early on that I was going to tell almost everyone, figured one way or the other questions would be asked and I wanted them on my terms. I did and still do feel slightly ashamed about not being able to do it on my own , but How much more foolish was it to keep going on the way I was. Either way people are going to talk about me atleast this way its hopefully positive. Every person has to make their own decision about it and just know that regardless of their opinions you have made the right decision FOR YOU! goodluck
  5. I completely understand.... im on day 2 also and wow didnt realize how much i must have really ate each day. well good luck! Laura
