jrmolina2006 got a reaction from nenes78 in Leave Recovery Time After SurgeryI would say take at least 1 month off to recover and get off liquids and on soft foods. You don’t really want to go back while you’re on liquids and your body is still adjusting and your incisions are still healing.

jrmolina2006 got a reaction from jenifaoh in Anxious and nervousHello,
Agree walk walk walk to get that gas out after surgery, I was able to start walking 2 hours after surgery.
I never experience any pain with my sleeve or incisions; it was more of the gas discomfort

jrmolina2006 got a reaction from GreenTealael in Nutrition Change HELP!! Gout is killing me with my protein intakeHello my fellow sleevers,
I was doing so good finally with my water & protein intake and now i developed gout in both my feet, It seems like my protein intake is the cause of this, Which leads me to my next question what should I consume on a daily basis.
I'm currently 2 1/2 months out of surgery and im doing great 95 lbs down since pre op.
Bariatric doc has me on 90 grams of protein and im limited to 40-50 carbs daily.... But now that i'm fighting gout i started eating fruits to fight my uric acid but fruits = carbs...... not sure how to beat it or what diet to follow.
Any suggestions ???
