  3. My parents know. My boss knows. I told one lady from church who had WLS about 17 years ago and I told my best friend. I also am pretty private, but felt strongly about telling my best friend. I knew if our roles were reversed, I’d absolutely want to know she was having surgery! Ive been trying to think of a response to have ready when people comment on my weight loss. I work in an office with 11 ladies, many of whom are opinionated and do not hesitate to give opinions (wanted or not). All of them are thin so I feel certain I’ll hear some comments.
  4. Hi! My name is Lindsay. I’m just starting the process, but I’m doing the sleeve. I’m feeling really excited! I’ve told the 4 people I wanted to tell and everyone was more than supportive.
  5. @lilDanille I’m not sure how to quote you on here yet so I hope you see my response! I have my dietician class, chest X-ray, and ekg on March 14. My psych consult is on April 4. Once that’s done, all I have left is to schedule and do a pre op appointment. I wish my psych consult was sooner because I’m so excited!

  8. I had my first appointment Friday. Aiming for surgery in April or May. Would love to chat more anytime!
