  1. 57lbs is great. I think I lost about 60 in 2 months and have been losing consistently
  2. No reason to stress 1000s of people go through Surgery everyday..
  3. I just had a stall for a few days then today I'm down 1.5lbs
  4. Go back to the start.. Log everything.. Maybe even do a cleanse of just shakes for a week
  5. Shakes are quick and easy if you're away from cooking facility
  6. I'm 35 years young. Just never really been an exercise person. I should use the bike but I lack motivation. I'm a homebody I don't go out much at all social anxiety issues etc. I think a rowing machine would target whole body.. I need things I can do at home.. I had a can of no sugar coke didn't feel any different..
  7. I never got any information from my surgeon and I thought I'd ask the veterans on here what exactly is the medical reason behind the *NO* carbonated drinks like a soda? I was really craving something today so I had a small no sugar coke just to see how I felt; I was very busy today realised at the last moment I got the wrong drink but I took it very slow small sips and haven't noticed any side effects? I drink coffee during the day but also lots of water everyday. I've hit a stall the past few days I'm not sure if it's the coffee or the fact I'm very close to the end. I'm currently 212; my ultimate end goal is between 180-190lbs... Maybe the last 20+lbs will be more STUBBORN? I must admit my activity level is minimal and that is my own fault I lack motivation most days.. I know I'll need to get into some kind of exercise; I've got a stationary bike but I really want to get a rowing machine for the whole body workout.. What do ppl think about rowing machines? Sorry this is a multi part question... Thanks. Mike.
  8. Yes I think your body decides to take a break and to catch up to all the weight loss so far...
  9. I started at 322 but no longer in the 300s currently at 212lbs so hopefully soon be under 200...
  10. I've started drinking it a lot these last few weeks with no issues that I can tell.. It helps me with my energy levels and curbs my hunger at times I just buy the instant stuff from the supermarkets not like Starbucks so no sugar..
  11. I'm so over this new phase of political correctness......
  12. Glad my dr had no issues with coffee caffeine
  13. DONATE THEM - it was so hard trying to find big clothes to fit so I know what that felt like So I'll donate all mine to help the next guy...
  14. You'll find some doctors have their own prerequisites for you to jump through before surgery....
  15. I think it was about 44lbs
  16. I swear some dietitians are useless... I don't need them to tell me. I can read books and research online plenty... Last time I saw a local dietitian she was kinda rude..
  17. Nobody can guarantee you'll never be hungry ever again...
  18. Unfortunately it's a part of life and you will need to adapt to it. Everyday now for the rest of your life You have to be mindful of your new way of life. I feel great I can look at people stuffing their faces with junk wherever I go and I know that is not me anymore. I don't even want that food anymore. Nor is any food worth giving up my health and the 110lbs I've already lost! I'm the healthiest I've ever been in my 35 years and food is now just fuel that is it.. We need to learn to disassociate food with pleasure. We need to find other things in life that give us joy outside of junk food.
  19. So what was the point of that.lol
  20. May need to increase protein
  21. Your dietitian is not specialised in bariatric it seems... I'm 2 months out and still around 4-500 cal a day...
  22. It can take weeks for the swelling and air to release from your body....
