Anti depressants post op
I always joke that doctors are just "practicing" medicine. Lol

Anti depressants post op
I have continued taking my antidepressants, anxiety meds, thyroid meds, vitamins, etc. I was able to continue them in pill form since the day after surgery, without issue. I feel very fortunate that everything has gone so well, in that respect.

Any gastric sleeve patients with Fibromyalgia
I'm right there with@KatFight. I was prepared for a horrible amount of pain, but had very little, as it relates to the surgery (because of the fibromyalgia). I was fortunate as I "only had the gas pain". I walked around the hospital all night the first night and it helped. I also used the pain pump the first night...probably more than I needed because I thought the pain would be unbearable. Best of luck to you! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

My experience so far with sleeve (6 weeks in)
I have been enjoying the Real Good Pizza (it has a chicken breast based crust). One serving has 25 grams of protein. It's very tasty. It's also a bit pricey, but it does last for two meals. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

Craving pickles but getting diarrhea
Sugar free popsicles saved me. They are a bit tart. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

I am SO tired of sweet things!
I had my surgery on 8/2. I have been eating a half of a turkey patty and green beans. The trick is to eat very slowly and chew it really well. It takes about 30 minutes to finish it (for me). I haven't had any difficulties EXCEPT when I try to eat too fast. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

Anyone try a burger??
I am 3 weeks post op and have been eating a half of a turkey burger for dinner nightly. Of course I "chew chew chew"...Lol. I haven't had any difficulties, EXCEPT that I try to eat it too quickly. I did have a hamburger patty this evening and had no issues with it either. My only bit of advice is to eat it very slowly. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

Needing Support
Hi. I'm not sure how much help I can be, but I thought I'd try. I had a nocturnal eating disorder. Sugar free popsicles got me through. I started to view the feeling of being hungry as a success, knowing that I was losing weight. I added a lowfat plain yogurt to my shakes, as well. That really helped too. I also tried to sleep through some of it. It's not easy for sure. I also kept in mind how desperately I wanted the surgery and knew it couldn't happen if I didn't follow the liver shrinking pre-op diet. I hope that helps a little. Take it one moment at a time. You've got this! It's so worth it! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
