  1. Just got back, I ate protein. Delicious shrimp, and ceviche. I did drink, but I had vodka and water with a splash of cran or a bloody mary. I didn't gain and really enjoyed what I ate.

  3. They used the superglue stuff. The other 4 look fine. One on the infected ones just looks like it has a scab and my skin is red around it. The bad one had yellow on it and started to pull apart. My skin also red and itchy around it. Surgeon just cut out tissue on bad one. It was numb. I didn't feel anything. Hopefully will get under control. I'll have hubby take a pic when he changes the bandage later. RNY 8-1-18 HW 255 SW 242 CW 241 GW 160
  4. So 2 of my 6 incisions are infected. Went to dr. Today he debried one and it has to be packed and covered to heal. Didn't hurt. Just started looking bad yesterday. He also put me on Keflex. Kind of gross. I am going to have my husband help me. RNY 8-1-18 HW 255 SW 242 CW 241 GW 160

  15. I agree, I have been contacting them daily. I am a cash patient. I feel that they are just pushing me thru. Just really nervous. My insurance has a bariatric exclusion. I know if I went through insurance every thing would be checked.
  16. So I have tachycardia. Had it for years. A cardiologist told me to meditate. My dr.s staff called today and said they have to delay surgery due to my cardiology dr says I smoke. I happily quit 2 years ago. My dr's appt scheduler basically called me a liar and said I need a nicotine test. I asked her to look at the dates and she realized the report is 2 years old. So frustrated. She said she would email me paperwork for surgery on the 1st, but didn't I feel like she is going to "tell" on me to dr. Uugg

  18. I am in San Antonio, cash price for bypass is 10.5k for hospital 5k for dr Not sure how much I will pay anesthesia. I did have a endoscopy "paid" for by insurance. I paid facility 1.4k. I'm figuring it is still cheaper than a new car and I will love it a lot longer! Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app
