Hey all,
I'm still pre-op. Is there something you wish you knew before heading to the hospital, or something you wish you did differently? I'm hoping something comes up that I haven't even thought of yet...
I am pre-op and I decided to only tell people who I *knew* were going to be supportive. Ifthere was any uncertainty or potential for someone to try to force their opinions on me, I didn't tell them. I've told a few friends, and my boss, but not my mom...
The thing I bought that hasn't been listed, is an undated daily planner. I started using it one month pre-op. I like to plan everything out, and having it all in one place (vitamin schedule, appointments, meal plans, work deadlines...) helps me out so much.
The most common metal allergy is nickel, which is in sterling silver in different amounts. Titanium and stainless steel don't have any nickel in them as far as I know, they are considered hypoallergenic.
