  1. Congrats on your date, I want one!!!
  2. Thank you, I'll need to try to stick to stricter guidelines. I wish there was a bariatric bible all doctors had to follow so everyone was on the same page...lol
  3. Thinking of you and sending prayers to your family. Enjoy as much time as you can, time is precious and priceless.
  4. Glad im not the only one....lol. Also, i saw your chip conversation and walmart sells bags of protein chips right with the shakes and bars at the location near me.
  5. Im glad you arent in much pain anymore. Ill keep my fingers crossed that your stall ends and it starts melting off. Dont get discouraged, im sure it wont last long!
  6. Thank you very much. I am so ready to just get it done!
  7. I happen to like the "super long posts" I want to hear about as many peoples experiences with surgery as possible. I want to be aware of as many of the little unexpected things, issues, etc as I can. I guess I think the more I know the more ready I feel, if that makes sense.
  8. This is my current ticker till my surgeon submits to insurance. Took forever to get to this point. Im hoping within a wk or two to be able to start a surgery countdown!
  9. I apologize, I am still pre op but when i see people posting pictures of progress I can't help but look.
  10. @Tealael Thank you for replying. May I ask what guidelines youwere given for sugar? I am planning to have RNY.
  11. Congrats, You look amazing! That's alot of progress for just a few months!!!
  12. I am still pre op and picking up items here and there to try. I will be seeing my nutritionist again once I'm approved and can/will ask her as well. I'm curious as to whether a certain soup I tried and really liked is ok. It has 13 g sugar total (3 of which are added, 10 natural) Along those same lines how many grams of natural sugars ARE ok post op? The rule of thumb I was given is to try and stay under 10 grams/serving, but didn't know If that was total or added. Also, if something has say 13 but I am only able to eat a half serving, is that ok? Sorry if I rambled and im really NOT stupid, I swear....lol
  13. I know exactly how you feel. I am beyond ready to just get this show on the road.
  14. You look great and should be very proud!
