BUG57

I have been banded since 10/04/07. The first few months I lost about 40Lbs, but since then I haven't lost any more. With over 7cc fill which I needed to get unfill due to acid reflux that was affecting my esophagus. I honestly feel I haven't benefit with the band, instead I have a health problem I didn't have before. :blushing:

Hi,please take care regurgitating (throwing up). It could affect the position of your band. Reseach this possibility. Bug!

Hi Mom2, My pcp wants me to see a gastronogist. But I have to check with my np at fill center in St. Pete. I might need to defill my band first. Mom, what is uc? Bug

Hi Augubwa, welcome aboard. We all know about insurance com. and........ where they stand. I heard of people that've die waiting too be approved for WL surgegy. Most of us're sefl-pay & have to go outside the U.S. for WLS (banded). L8R best of luck. BUG!!:shades_smile:

HI,1007....A few more cc's, an your 10cc band is up too the limit, and you still haven't found the sweet spot.??:smile2:....now I wonder? with 7cc's in my "viva la band"? ...one thing though, I'm muching much lesssssss. CUL8R...BUG!!.....PS keep in touch.

VCOMPTON........IT seems we are both on the same page when it come to goodiessss. Ice cream and delicious cheese,like provone, amer.& swiss What about grilled? Sorry, I got carry away! any way let me STOP talking about goodies and concentrate on my WL. keep in touch, BUG!!

P.S. I'm hoping that by 03/02/09 I reach my wL goal. But.. onessss in awhile I have one or two small scoops of iceeeee cream. (Vanilla) BUG!!

HI, Iherstine,vcompton & trapped...With my last fill of 7cc I pretty much could eat anything and everything... but! smaller portions, longer chewing. I have experience that after dinner I'm not hungry until dinner the following day...I still make an effort to eat a lite brunch...... Trapped... on my third fill, the np unfill the band and 1cc of saline had dissipate. My band was check for leaks with a dye under floro...no leaks!! On my 4th & 5th fills the saline was intact...TO double check I had a barium test done on my 5th fill, no slippage no leaks thank god!! Thats what I call VIVA LA BAND.........L8R BUG!!

Well, I got the fifth fill (1cc) for a total 7cc in my 10cc band on 7/31/08. Overall body inches are down (thats good) But the needle in the scale is stuck and not moving, am taking it aparted and applying 3 & 1 oil see if it works. But seriously I hope this fill hits the bulls-eye.:Banane34: BUG57

Operated a bus in Brooklyn for ayear, and over twenty five in Manhanttan (n.y.c.mta). Talk about stuck in traffic and sitting on your b-tt. Now I'm retire and still sitting on my b-tt.

Am eating much less now. Definitely not just one cup of anything! This is my fourth fill (6cctotal). I know I haven't found the r/spot yet, but am staying put. The minute I feel no restriction I'm running to get a fill. Bug57

Hi, hvnagdtme ON 04/21/08 my band was filled with 6cc (one slight unfill to check for leaks). For the first few months, I feel good restriction, not asmuch now. But I'm staying put for now,I'm still stuck at 220lbs (from 260lbs) an not going anywhere. Bug57
