  1. No I haven’t- and about 8 weeks out. That sounds weird HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 197 GW 160
  2. My husband wanted me to do the gym and diet thing again with more devotion etc. when I explained my reasons to him- mostly around self esteem or how I feel physically or medical issues etc.... he supported me. I may have said “i know you don’t necessarily agree with it but I’m asking you to support me” HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 197 GW 160
  3. Congrats! I’m about 8 weeks out . You’ll continue to lose bc you should be eating smaller amounts and mostly proteins for the next month Keep it up! HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 197 GW 160
  4. Hi! What is the Bariatric app called? I’ve been using the MyPlate app HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 197 GW 160
  5. I would also take a look in these forums... I notice a lot of people doing the bypass after sleeve or band. Not sure why HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 197 GW 160
  6. I chose Gastric Bypass . The maximum weight loss opportunity for me- and no reflux. I know you can lose more with bypass . The surgery was super - only 5 very small incisions on belly (about 3/4 of an inch each). Recovery was fast other than tenderness ok belly and sleeping if you’re a side sleeper. Haven’t really had dumping and you can control that by following directions of eating slow and small amounts. My surgery was dec 20th and down almost 40 . Yay me! HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 197 GW 160
  7. Thanks! You’ll get there! HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 197 GW 160
  8. Congrats! Go you! HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 198 GW 160
  9. I had some intense heart burn type pain for about an hour ... but it goes away- likely just gas from surgery. Slept for a solid amount of time. Near no pain at all (had laparoscopic bypass), only a bit when sleeping bc i couldn’t sleep on side yet. Movement was fine and back to work easily within a week and that was only to get eating habits in line Best decision ever— no regrets and nothing too big to worry about at all HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 198 GW 160
  10. Working for me so far! (I think lol). Told them started an exercise routine and upped protein— cut out sugar, carbs etc Weight comes off pretty fast . I’m about 8 weeks out and down about 38 lbs without exercise HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 198 GW 160
  11. Bypass on dec 20th... super happy on my decision! Went to BMC- Dr Pernar HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 199 GW 160
  12. My full feeling (i think??) is a chest type pain . I’m having a hard time slowing down too. Although that pain tells me when I’m eating too fast t too much at once! HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 199 GW 160
  13. Congrats! Best decision. Ever. I didn’t do the unflavored protein- i did the premiere shakes ... and eventually shredded canned chicken (it’s like tuna consistency) and scrambled egg whites , cheese stick and Greek yogurts for protein Didn’t do compression socks— hospital was really fast! HW 242 SW 236- December 20, 2017 CW 199 GW 160
