  2. My stomachs still gurgles after a year and half. No sure what that means. It doesn’t bother me. It just gets noisy sometimes.
  3. I did use mine. However, after a short time, I could not sleep because of the cramps. The doctor had to lower the script on the CPAP. It dropped from 17 to 7 pressure and I had no more issues. I would recommend going back to your CPAP doctor and have them lower the pressure.

  6. I think that you mostly hear about the things that go wrong or people who don't follow what the doctors tell them. The success stories are rarely told. I have stopped reading some of the posts. I did not tell many people about my surgery prior because I did not want to hear any of the horror stories that everyone seems to have. I am so glad I did not. There are going to be risks with any surgery. 5 or 10 years ago, this surgery was much more evasive. Now it is non-evasive (five little cuts) and generally in the hospital for one night. I can state that I have no issues. I am 4 months post op. I lost 40 pounds prior to surgery and have lost 60 since surgery. I have not had any issues. I am off almost all medications. I am taking vitamins but I took those anyway. I feel better than I have in 20 years. Go in with a great attitude, follow the surgeon team's guidance. It was one of my best decision.
  7. HW 285 SW 252 (12-21-17) CW 184 5'6" Goal 160 I have been able to eat anything. I have not gotten sick. I have felt uncomfortable. I have also stalled a couple of times but am finally moving slowly down the scale again.
  8. I had my RNY in December. I was concerned because I did not have any of the issues that everyone talks about on line. I have stalled twice but have started losing again. The most I had was eating too much (I still eat fast) and felt uncomfortable for awhile (I usually stood and walked around). Some have a difficult time and they will post more than those who do not. I do not regret my decision for a second. I am down 100 pounds and would like to lose 20 more. These forums are great for finding someone with similar issue (i.e., stalling) and see how people respond. Just realize that most are only going to create a new post when they are having an issue.
