  1. Today 6 months 1 day since surgery. Here’s the stats. HW 257 2/2018 SW 237 8/31/2018 CW 187 3/1/2018 down 70 pounds since the beginning weight. It’s funny I felt like I’ve been behind but seein it all listed I am so grateful to this entire process Let’s keep on going right !!

  4. Omg I’m up to 10 min cardio in my second week physical therapy the rest of my session today is 35 min resistance tracing and core strength. So proud of my self doing the bridge felt like I had my butt up so high and holding it for 65 second and then realized I wasn’t even an inch off the Matt. LOL. HEY at lest it’s progress right?
  5. Yep all of January was up and down but February has been kinder. Adding more water back in to my daily routine 80-100 ounces and 10 min of cardio every day and keeping my fat to about 20-30 grams. Today it’s helping try not to look back but focus on today. :)
  6. I finally hit the 180’s yes. So I’ve up my exercises to include the bicycle and it’s my cardio as well. What is everyone doing to move their bodies? Calories are at 880 but I try to leave about 100-150 on the table. So how is everyone doing ??
  7. Thank you for your post I’m 5 months out now and had forgotten how hard the first month post op is. And 95% of it was my brain fighting me. It dies get better but this is the most important time for your new positive brain to I get in sync with your new body. The body actually does pretty darn well it our brains that’s messing with you. We have to find new things to comfort us not food or booze but distraction to help reset our thoughts about ourselves. You made a choice for a better life. Keep fighting the good fight. In 5 month maybe you will share with us where you are today. Healthy. ?‍♀️
  8. I’m 5 1/2 months out down 64 pounds. Still have 30 to go.
  9. It’s part of the journey to keeps us humble. Yikes. But adding some new core exercises hopefully will help build up some muscle and more muscle burns more fat. So I’m in !!
  10. I just went through that cycle myself 197-195 for weeks. This week down to 193.

  15. I too joined wonderland in the middle of Christmas week. Such a wonderful surprise. It had been 41 years since I have seen thus number. 35 pounds left to go !!
  16. Miz60. Nothing wrong with you last month I had parathyroid surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. It’s all good but 3 days later had 6 SF popsicles and 1/2 cup of my husband peanut butter blast ice cream. So good and the next morning so mad at myself. I went up and down 5-7 pounds for the last 3 weeks. But thanks to the Bypass Gods today I weighed in at 199. I have found Onederland. And it’s so beautiful here don’t want to ever leave it. You are strong get that hydration in and will meet you here soon :)
  17. I also let people know when they question my amount of food. That I made a New Years Resolution and am proud to say that I’ve been successful in keeping my resolve this year and have promised my self to keep going. Then I ask them how are they doing with their New Years Resolution? Usually they stop questioning me at that point and I encourage them to keep trying with their resolve.
  18. So ended yesterday with these stats Calories 635 Fat 28 grams Protein 68 grams Carbs 16 H2O 67 oz. this morning Wednesday I’m down 2 pounds so I’m gonna keep this up through next Monday. And up my water just make it up to 100 oz has been difficult but I’ll get there. Oh Yes I F success at 16:8.
  19. Did 16:8 had breakfast at 11:30. A 2 oz hamburger patty from Dairy Queen no bun but had 3 pickles and a 8 oz Diet Coke !! So dinner tonight is left over turkey/beef ground tacos wrapped in cabbage leaves and non fat Greek yougurt too
  20. Good news!! I am cancer free as far as my oncologist is concerned and do a new scan in 6 months so I’m feeling pretty frisky right now. Yea!! And my endocrinologist has signed on with me doing if and canal
  21. End of day 72 grams protein 15 carbs 38 grams fat Calories 624 Water 72 ounces
  22. I’m on my day 1 tuna casserole for breakfast 1/2 cup had mushrooms and mushroom soup with onion and small amount of parmigiana cheese. Delicious
