  1. When preparing my broth for the pre-surgery diet, I'm making bone broth. Can I add my own canned tomato juice as a variation?
  2. Hi.. I am new to this group. Having sleeve surgery in late March. Going out of the US for this, and was wondering if after released (day 4) would I feel like a little sight seeing before flying home? Also, starting to look at options for the liquid diet and wondering?? which am I trying to avoid...fat or sugar? Many of the protein drinks I checked had sugar, and I thought I was supposed to be sugar free, but also have fatty liver disease, so I know its important to get that shrunken down. Any input would be appreciated!
  3. I couldnt do the full mask......was too confusing to figure out which to breathe out of....mouth or nose. the small nose mask was much easier for me. Have you tried that one?
  4. HI. Sounds very similar to my gall bladder issues. My dr did everything and discounted gall stones. Finally, only after blood work ,did they do an ultrasound and they discovered how damaged my gall bladder actually was. I was not allowed to leave the hospital and they did surgery the next morning. I had excruciating pain around my shoulder blade, and once it started I immediately headed to the bathroom with B/M (who would have thought they were connected) and then I would have to just "walk it off". After the surgery, I felt like a ton of bricks had been lifted out of my stomach. The surgery was nothing compared to the pain. I wish you well!
  5. Hi. I have been on CPAP now for about 3 weeks. The issue I had in the beginning was it made everything smell burnt. I roamed around my office looking for wires that were burning!!.. But, eventually, after increasing the moisture level, its ok now. I feel so much better and am having 1-2 episodes a night vs. 90+ an hour. So, keep with it, it can be adjusted!. Good Luck.
