  1. I had surgery 12/15 and I feel the same way. I haven’t had trouble getting fluids in except the first 24 hours and I can eat more than I expected. But the nurses and the doctor all said I was recovering more quickly than most so I’m guessing that’s why.
  2. I have a list in my phone of all the things I want to do and I’ve been adding to it over the last month. It ranges from simple things like wearing high heels comfortably again (or as comfortably as heels can be) to section hiking the Appalachian Trail.
  3. I had sleeve surgery yesterday and just got home from the hospital. I’m trying to decide what I want more, shower or bed!
  4. I just had my sleeve yesterday, but I’ve had foot surgery twice so I still feel like I can provide some advice. I recommend focusing on healing, the 1st time I had foot surgery I rushed to get off crutches & ended up being in the boot a month longer than normal. I’d also talk to the surgeon about when you can start physical therapy and if there are any exercises that are safe to do.
  5. Hi, I’m scheduled for surgery Dec 15. I’m starting to get really nervous. I’m self-pay so it’s all moving a lot faster than I expected. [emoji51]
