I switched insurance on 1/1/18. My last supervised visit was 1/3/18. I got approval yesterday from new insurance everything was accepted! Good luck

Found out insurance was submitted on Friday. Got approval today 1/9. Waiting for surgeons office to call for date and pre-op appt

Hello, I'm 26, mother, full-time student and employee. I am waiting to get approval from insurance and then to get my surgery date!! Hopefully very soon! I live in Indiana and can't wait for the next step in this process!

Well I submitted it to the insurance specialist at my doctors office. So it should be sent in. I have anthem through the state insurance. Who do you have? Let me know when you hear something! I don't have a date yet☹️ that's what I'm hoping for with approval!

Submitted request for bypass today. Really hoping for a quick approval. I am having my surgery done at St Vincent bariatric center of excellence in Carmel, IN. Anyone else had/having surgery there? So anxious!!

My final nut and weigh in appointment will be this Wednesday 1/3. The anxiety is killing me. I know I have gained probably 5 pounds since last months with all of the parties and treats. Overall each month I've lost at least a pound. Extremely nervous if that will effect my request for approval from insurance. The wait to get to this point has seemed so long and daunting. I'm just hoping for positive news and quickly. I can't believe I made it this far, I can't believe I am so close!!!

I am in the same situation, are you in Indiana? I have Bcbs with HIP. I started in July and hope to be approved with surgery in January.
