  1. @jenn1 - how much did you lose in 3 years? I am just beginning my process and my surgeon is looking at surgery around end of January 2018 - beginning February 2018. I have my endoscopy on Tuesday
  2. You look amazing! Keep up the great work!
  3. How are you doing post-op, Killian?
  4. Hey NJGal, where ya from? I’m up in Sussex County
  5. I have 4 rescued kitties [emoji173]️ A tuxedo female, DSH all black male, and sibling MC mixes who are brother and sister. How many do you have? I am obsessed with black cats, but love them all the same
  6. I’m in Sussex, NJ. Anyone else in Northern NJ?
  7. I made my first appointment today! Going to see The gastroenterologist on Monday to schedule an endoscopy. I’m so excited and nervous. Does anyone else constantly think about the day of the surgery, how it will feel, how you will be able to cope post-op with the liquid diet, how much your new stomach will hold, etc? Sorry, I’m such a newbie at this and this forum was the best thing I found!
  8. Hi Tiffany86- we are in the same boat, only a month apart. I went for my first Dr visit last night. Tomorrow I have to make appointments for an endoscopy and psych evaluation. Then go to the gym 3 times a week for 12 weeks. My surgeon is looking at a January 2018 op date for me. I’m so excited!!
  9. This is my first time on this site, and I love the amount of information you guys share. Last night I had my consultation visit with my doctor and was not sure if I would qualify for surgery. After getting weighed and I saw my BMI, he said I qualify! I, too, have a 3 month process before surgery. I will need to see a nutritionist 3 times, have an endoscopy done (I have a history of ulcers), and a psych evaluation. Also, I am required to exercise at the gym a minimum of 3 times a week for 12 weeks My question is: Is this standard? Going to the gym and having a psych evaluation? Thank you!
