Has anyone tried Orange theory?
I say, find a cheap gym. Or find a safe running route. For about the same price, or less, you can hook up with a trainer on your own schedule and make follow-up appointments when needed.

Big Name Meal Plans...anyone a year or more out try them?
I think if someone wants to throw away all their progress and just say "f$&@ it, I don't care, I just want to pretend I care" they might try them. Those prepackaged diets are light on Protein, and high on carbs and have unacceptable amounts of sugar. Nutrisystem does not even highlight the amount of carbs in their meals. I am a year out, and I wouldn't dare use them. I have old nutrisystem boxes, even unopened ones. I have maybe one or two of the meals a week only because it's food I already bought. As for all my meals, I would consider it the same as suicide, because I consider the surgery as having g saved my life. And, I still can't eat a whole meal.

How much oil to track for restaurant meal?
I honestly would not worry about it. If the oil is going to signficantly impact your diet, choose another item. For example, you mentioned .25 cup of charred broccoli. How deep was the charring, a quarter cup is just volume of the measuring device and does not tell you what the packing factor was or the density of the broccoli, was it large peices, or chopped up squares or spherical pieces? See, you can get extremely deep on small servings of food. Just eat healthy. Track your food, but don't worry about small details, like what type of oil was used or what ocean the shrimp came from.

Gain and then stall?
For the first time, I gained weight, then stalled. I was on a nice and steady loss, then jump up 6 lbs from 238 to 244 and have stalled at 242-243. Is this normal? I've had plenty stalls, just never a 4lb gain and then a stall.

Nauseous after Dance Class
Eating before activity is not always a good thing for everyone. While you may not have had problems before, your new digestive system might now. The best time to eat a full meal, and Google it for all the reasons, is right after exercise. Next time, just snack a little before your exercise.

My first 30 minutes today walking
It time now to start training for a 5k. Instead of walking 30 minutes everyday, start this. Walk 10 minutes, jog 30 seconds, repeat 3 times., Just three times in a week. Next week, walk 9.5 minutes, jog 60 seconds and repeat three times ...Slowly reduce the walk times, and or increase the jog times, and over the course of a couple, 3 or 4 months, you'll be running a 5K. But always stay under 30 minutes. Eventually when you run the entire 30 minutes (after a warm-up) increase the time until you cover a 5k. This is how people train for a "couch to 5k.". If you can walk it, you can jog it. If I could do it, ANYONE CAN (without medically damaged knees). Loosing weight actually helped my knee problem and made running even easier.

Walking as exercise after surgery
Don't limit yourself to just walking. As you loose weight, you'll be able to do more and there is little calories burn in just walking. Eventually walk three miles, then interval training to run that 3 miles (5k). Big difference in calorie burn, and when you run it, you'll be able to do it in about 40 minutes give or take. Weight loss is a challenge on your muscles. You'll want some gym visits to maintain tone, or even build muscles. Find some cardio classes. For me, walking is was always just too slow of a calories burn.

Help needed, what exercise can i do to drop the fat?
Start walking, going to a gym, cardio, everything. Do everything you can and be as active as you can. There is no right or wrong answer. After surgery, you are still overweight, so you will still be limited to what you can effectively do. So now is the time to start doing activities you like. Start slowly, and keep adding on to it. Even if walking, keep increasing the distance. Then eventually train to jog a 5k. The best exercise to burn calories are any of the high intensity interval training activities, but just having surgery, those activities might still be hard. As you loose weight, all activities will become easier, so keep applying yourself because your abilities will keep increasing g everyday and you need to keep up with them.
