Hi everyone Had my surgery on 3-7-18. Getting used to all the new “things” like swallowing, finding out the new baseline when you are full, and how different liquids react with the new stomach... I feel like all I do is sip on liquids all day long. However, everyday it gets better and better... less pain, less gas and able to sleep on my sides now.

Hi I’m March 7th as well. What kind of pre-op diet are you on?

Thank you for the responses. Very interesting. I’m hoping I can discuss this issue and would like to be on the smaller size 32f or 34f. From the research it looks like people with smaller bougie sizes had a slightly better outcome in the long run.

I haven’t told any of my family. Just my wife and a close friend knows. At work I told them I’m having abdominal surgery.

Sweet. I’m March 7 it’s almost been a year for me. Here in Cali.

This is more common then people thank. Have seen my inlaws in the same scenario which you have described in your relationship. I’m sorry you had to go through that.

After the paperwork was submitted it was about two weeks for approval that’s with blue shield of California
