  1. Believe it or not, my Doc put me on chewable flintstone vitamins.
  2. I'm bumming...I love my coffee.
  3. ...And that is exactly what a pharmacists is supposed to do.
  4. I'm going through a revision from an open stomach stapling in 1990 to an RNY full Gastric Bypass. In the early days they didn't move the intestine and have found that that was the key. Doc is worried he is going to have some issues going around the old scar tissue and mesh. I'm a little worried about that, but I'm in your boat - I lost some, but never all of it. Now I'm back to my pre-surgery weight and I'm sick of it. Congratulations on wining your long fought fight!!!!
  5. Somebody congratulate me, I just passed my Psych Evaluation! I used that online/phone company and I don't think our phone call was more than 20 minutes. At the end he wished me luck and i flatout asked him if I passed and he said I did with flying colors! What no ink blots? LOL
  6. Are you guys having any problems getting your meds? There is a big to-do going on over on FB today about people going to CVS, Walgreens and WalMart and being questioned by the pharmacists about WHY they need the meds and then refusing to fill the prescription. Are any of you having any difficulties?
  7. There are 3 books my nutritionist suggested (I haven't read them yet) - Eat Q - Women, Food and God -When Food is love
  8. Has anyone here had to do their psych evals online? My doctor set me up to do this and I'm nervous that a 30-60 minute phone consult with an online psychiatrist or psychologist won't understand how important this eval is to me. If it's a bad one, say he's worried about the fact that I have some depression, he refuses to give me the green light? That will totally screw up my chances to get my surgery... Anyone else here had this experience?
  9. My husband of 31 years married a very chubby girl. He saw me for who I was inside and didn't harp about the outside. Don't get me wrong, of course he is worried for my health, but he married me for me. Now I'm hoping to give him the present of a hottie for a wife! He is my best friend and I'm grateful he wasn't a shallow man.
  10. Wow, StephersSweet!!!! You go girl!!
  11. Hmmmm, carbs are love!?! At least that's what my parents thought! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
  12. Oh, that's terrible! You probably going to have to put off surgery because your lungs aren't going to be able to handle the anesthesia. I am so sorry you're going through that, I know you look forward to the date that this comes about! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. Just remember it took you a long time to get fat; it will take time to lose it!!
  16. Maybe something in red or yellow!!! Amen, Sister!!
  17. I wanna go into Victoria Secrets and find out just what she's been hiding all these years!!! I want to wear pretty panties and bras, look in the mirror and not want to throw up!! Can you imagine - a "no roll zone!"

  20. Great Challenge! My top 10 dreams I want to come true! 1. Have my husband of 31 years be able to pick me up for the first time in our marriage and have him excitedly carry me to bed (for the 1st time ever!) 2. Go to Ireland on a driving/walking tour. 3. Take brand new beautiful family pictures where you can see my whole body, not just my head. 4. Shop successfully and happily at Victoria Secrets. 5. Fly home to NJ and go to the Family Christmas Breakfast and just watch their faces! 6. Get into that sized 10 button up jeans that I have had for 12 years and never been able to wear. 7. Put on ANY pair of jeans without having to lay down on the bed to zip them up. 8. Join Zumba 9. Learn to Salsa. 10. Go to church and THANK GOD that the girl I knew I could be has finally come out of hiding. Give Him all the Praise!
  21. I'm on my way today! I am at the very beginning of my journey and just lost my 1st pound!! I'm going to celebrate EVERY SINGLE ONE....and you guys are stuck with me! LOL
  22. Actually you should be pleased with your weight loss, even the fact that it's slow. Due to it being slow YOUR skin will have a much easier time bouncing back which means much less loose skin. I'm 55 yrs old too and looking forward to my upcoming RNY and if that happens to me I'm going to tell myself "It took time to get fat, it's going to take time to get thin!!" Good luck and God Bless!
  23. You don't look sickly, Sweetie, you look like your body has been through a grand transformation and is still adjusting. In six months you are going to be SHOCKED at how perfectly you fit into your skin!!! Don't start emotionally eating now, you'll have let others opinions have sabotaged you again.
  24. Barbie! That b**** had everything but good boobs! Obviously! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
