The Good The Bad & The Nasty
This product is called "Nectar" and claims to have a completely smooth and Juice like viscosity. It's disgusting, it's cloudy, and the protein particles will settle in the bottom of your cup. Wasted $95 on this yucky crap. Definitely

The Good The Bad & The Nasty
You know that time you paid good money for that one product that boast "delicious flavor" whilst offering high amounts of protein and nutrition.....only to take one bite or sip and gag on the flavor, texture, or viscosity? Let's face it-- a VAST majority of "bariatric protein drinks", high protein "keto foods", or "bariatric vitamin supplements" taste like . SOOOO..... in an effort to help each other save time and money, please post the products you have tried and what you would rate them. Either a: or . Adding pics of the products would be very helpful. I'll start by posting a few products I've tried in the comments.

Salt Lake City sleevers?
Hmm....only tip I have is make sure you have the foods you need for your diet afterwards. I actually found infant rice cereal to be the most soothing thing to eat for the first week. Mix it with milk and you get a little protien. I'll be honest though... The first two days after surgery it was absolutely excruciating just to swallow water. I actually thought something was wrong but my doctor assured me it was just from all the swelling. Make sure you have good post op pain drugs!

Where are you having it done? I went to Lone Peak Surgery Center and was in and out in the same day.

Driving after a LBL
Yikes.... driving for an extended period of time after major surgery as a big risk for blood clots. I'd highly recommend waiting at least 6 weeks. I had an extended lower body tummy tuck in 2013 and there is no way I would have been able to drive that long.

Salt Lake City sleevers?
Well I tried soft scrambled eggs... Those came right back up Then I tried some soft cooked peas and carrots and gave me heartburn from hell.... Soooo..... I bought a creamy peanut butter protein bar( the kind with no chunks of nuts or anything crunchy in it) and, as long as I chew it slowly, it has been the best way to get my protein in.

Monthly visitor
I was on my period durring my surgery (so much fun) it lasted for way longer than usual and then when it was my next period time there was nothing...... I think surgery in general just freaks the body out and things go wacky.....

Poop talk (sorry!)
Hmmmm....????....I have no idea....I have the opposite problem....maybe check and see if there is sucrose in any of the foods you're eating? It can cause serious gastrointestinal issues. Same thing for sucralose or aspartame.

*Sex*
I'm 3 weeks out and still pretty sore So, sex isn't even on my radar right now. My hubby is 16 years older than me so it hasn't been an issue yet. *sigh* (I didn't think about me being in my sexual prime(30's for women) and him almost being 50 when we said "I do"......)
