You know that time you paid good money for that one product that boast "delicious flavor" whilst offering high amounts of protein and nutrition.....only to take one bite or sip and gag on the flavor, texture, or viscosity? Let's face it-- a VAST majority of "bariatric protein drinks", high protein "keto foods", or "bariatric vitamin supplements" taste like . SOOOO..... in an effort to help each other save time and money, please post the products you have tried and what you would rate them. Either a: or . Adding pics of the products would be very helpful. My total bill including: Pre-op visit fees, surgery center fee, anesthesiologist fee, bariatric surgeon fee, post-op visit fees, and post-op medications was a total of $12,000. That also includes all expenses for one year post-surgery and lifetime nutrition and exercise counseling. Not too bad of a deal if you are a cash pay patient.

Have you tried TVP ( textured vegetable protein)...... I made meatloaf with it three nights ago and my kids couldn't tell the difference. Tonight I am making chili with it. I don't think they'll be able to tell the difference with the chili either.

I bought mine in a 12 sample bundle pack off of Walmart.com The same bundle is offered on Groupon for $31. Which is a couple bucks more than Walmart. I've only tried two of the flavors so far, and they were really good. Sent from my SM-G900V using BariatricPal mobile app

I was a lacto-ovo-peco-tarian ( a vegatarian who eats eggs, milk products, and fish) for a year. I got protein from cottage cheese, greek yogurt, hummus, peanut butter, soy beans, quinoa, and protien bars.

Milk of magnesium works pretty good.....and lots of water. Unfortunately it will most likely continue after surgery

Here's another bad protein bar. Extremely dry and crumbly and the flavor is funky. On the flip side, the apple cinnamon variety of these bars taste very similar to apple cinnamon nutrigrain bars( not as sweet and more cinnamon) So either ordepending on the flavor.

Ok, so these are a capsule, therefore not really any flavor. But I'm posting them on here because they are a very small capsule and really truly work! If you're having problems with hair loss post-surgery I highly recommend these. As you can see it has caused my fingernails to be long enough I no longer need to wear acrylic nails! Woo hoo

While the LEMON variety of these calcium chews are amazing (taste like lemon Laffy Taffy)....THIS "coconut" flavor taste like greasy old coconut oil. Ewwww
