  4. First of all, congrats on your date! It’s always exciting to get one. Secondly, I feel like the fact that you can admit to the food addiction is brave and a step in the right direction for tackling the problem. I wish you all of the best and be sure to vent to us when things seem hard. We are cheering for you!
  5. Hope you get the date you want!
  6. The excitement is very real! Surgery day everyone was kind of looking at me weird because I was giggly and giddy and 0% nervous, lol. Congrats and you’ve got this!
  7. Welcome back Emily! Sorry your trip of serenity had to end so quickly. But now is the countdown to your big day ??
  8. Oh I don’t have to worry about it anymore. Those were just the 2 days before surgery. Post op my schedule is pretty clear. I start purées this Saturday, soft Foods next Saturday, and back to a regular diet the Saturday after that. This liquid stage feels so drawn out though. The sweetness is killing me, lol
  9. That’s amazing! Congrats!
  10. I’m doing great! Scale isn’t really moving but my clothes are getting a little looser and I get in all of my protein every single day. How are you?
  11. This is the news I’ve been waiting on! One step closer to the rebirth cake! Congrats!
  12. Sorry about the nausea, I gained like 10lbs from the fluids. I am now 1lb under my preop weight and haven’t lost anything. Still feel great though. Hopefully you get over the nausea soon
  13. Bending is awful! I’m getting less pain now 8 days post op but I feel your pain. And thank you! I’m trying! Hope you feel better soon!
  14. Congrats! That’s an amazing progress report
  15. Congrats! That’s amazing that you feel great! Can’t wait to see your progress ???
  16. I started feeling better around day 4, were you prescribed pain meds? Maybe call your doctor? You’re not feverish or anything right?
  17. Glad you’re doing well and the pain and soreness gets less intense everyday. And I understand the pain of standing and sitting. Everything feels out of sorts. It definitely gets better though. 8 days post op and I’m feeling way better, almost normal. Keep fighting the good fight!
  18. Glad to hear it and you’re so very welcome!
  19. I am waiting around the next few days to hear about a date! Excited for you!
  20. I’m curious about everyone’s changes post op. I’ve noticed that I have more stamina, my core strength has improved, and my nose is very sensitive. Like I smell everything intensely, every food scent, every odor, it hits me really hard, so strange. Anyone else have noticeable changes?
  21. No problem! It’s all about perspective ? The time really does fly once you have a date. Flies even faster after surgery. I’m one week post op already! Doesn’t feel like it. Hang in there, you’ve got this!
  22. Congrats on making it to the surgery side. Sorry about the discomfort. Have you tried walking to move the gas? I hope you feel better soon!
