  1. No you’re not. My nose runs with liquids too fast though. Not even cheating and I get busted. Lol
  2. Me too. Sleeved 4/11 and still haven’t gotten my 50oz/day in yet. I’m gonna keep on sipping and eventually I’ll get there. When I’m full my nose runs. I use that as my gauge to take a lil break. So weird.
  3. I feel the same way as you do. I’m 6 days out and still struggling with getting my liquids in. It either has to be ice water super slow or hot broth. Room temperature is nauseating. I burp with almost every sip. My Dr says it’s normal because my hiatal hernia was very large, so longer healing time and greater pain. Good news is today the gas pain in my shoulder has finally let up and I’m so much more comfortable. Sugar free popsicles have been my saving grace.
  4. That’s what I did. I’ll be glad when this shoulder gas pain subsides. Making everything pretty miserable right now.
  5. That’s wonderful! It’s a huge relief to be on the other side. They sent me home yesterday. Felt so good to get 3 full hours of uninterrupted sleep. I’m working on my water and making sure I get up and walk. The rest of the time, I’m sleeping and letting my body heal. Hope you continue with a great recovery. [emoji4]
  6. Thank you for your encouraging words Frust8. First day was rough but day two I’m feeling much much better.
  7. Hey Mac - how are you doing? I’m sore and just tired from being in the hospital. Trying to get my water in and I think I’m in love with popsicles. Lol hopefully going home today.
  8. Good luck today. Praying we both have a smooth recovery! [emoji1360]
  9. Yes!! What time do you go in?
  10. That is so amazing!! You’ll be at goal in no time. So at day 10 you don’t have to sip anymore. That’s very encouraging. I’m heading to surgery in the morning. Nervous but excited. [emoji15][emoji4]
  11. St Francis in Federal Way - my date was changed to the 11th so I’m going in tomorrow. What about you?
  12. Im the 11th and trying to stay calm and focused. Gotta admit, it’s not working very well. Lol
  13. I’m the same day! We got this!!
  14. Surgery date change from April 9th to the 11th. Ready, excited and nervous. [emoji4]
