  1. I just took a shower and it definitely helped.
  2. I'm day three. That gas almost killed me. I took a laxative and got all the intestinal gas out and then I walked to get the surgical gas out. I'm so thirsty and I'm trying not to chug. I also have no idea how much liquid I can hold without stretching my stomach. Do you have any idea? I pretty much finished a whole pint glass of water in 15 min with tiny sips. My mouth is dry so I know I need to do better than I did yesterday with the liquids. I can barely even feel my stomach. The incision pain on the right is out of this world. Tylenol Cod. Did absolutely nothing for me but make me feel crazy so I stopped taking it. I did however reach out to my surgeon to get a diff type of pain med.. I want to not take anything but the pain is pretty bad but, much better since the gas is gone. Wish you all the best
  3. I'm jealous! I'm in day 3 post op and I'm already bored with the clear diet. I can't wait to get creative with the puréed food. I even purchased a cook book! Man I will eat baby food at this point lol my only suggestion is to remember that this is your new stomach in your new life so find something that's low carb, low fat, and delicious. Don't eat your old favorite foods, try and create new ones. Take pictures for me ?. You are doing an awesome job. Keep up the good work.
  4. Should I be taking fiber supplements? Chewables?
  5. Yea, no!!! Gose is my favorite beer but that bothered my stomach before surgery. Lol that probably wasn't a good idea. Good to know though! Sorry you had to deal with that. I was rolling around last night 2 days op about to pass out from gas pain.
  6. That's a good point. I haven't even made it to the protein at home. They gave me some in the hospital. Now I'm Drinking tumaric tea to help with swelling . My bp med is a diuretic so I have to be super careful .
  7. I know. I guess I'm freaking out because I'm usually so aware of my body. I've been dancing around trying to get the gas out of my stomach like a crazy person. It's starting to work . I'm also worried about dehydration so.l regardless of it hurts or not I will keep on sipping. Lol
  8. My surgery was on Monday and I don't really want to keep taking opiates for pain. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, I'm freezing!! I have on pants,a short, and a robe. I feel feverish but I don't have a fever. Also, having problems with swallowing things and gurgling and pain. Is that normal?
  9. I would love to fart right now. So much surgical gas [emoji24]
  10. I'm actually laying down right now because he cramps are killing me.
  11. I'm on my second day and the first day I got no liquids at all due to the fact my surgeon wanted to make sure there were no leeks. I feel like I have no idea how much soup to eat or liquids to drink. I don't feel any diff than I did prior to the surgery. I immediately wanted candy which is weird because I never eat candy. My incision on my right side is giving me so much pain. Anyone else dealing with that? Kaja
