  1. The pain went away. So I guess I'm ok , for now.
  2. Has anyone had gallbladder issues after surgery? I had a bypass 4 weeks ago & am having upper right abdominal pain that wraps around to my back & up to my shoulder. I initially thought I just pulled a muscle, but after a week of constant pain I called the doc who thinks it's my gallbladder. Went for an ultrasound this morning & waiting for results.
  3. I'm experiencing this too. I'm almost 4 weeks out. Originally it was on my left side. Now it's on the right. Tylenol & heat help a bit.
  4. My surgeon told me that it's normal to have discomfort where they put stitches in the muscle to prevent hernias. Give it a few days & it gets better. My surgery was on 8/8, I still have a pulling pain but it is getting better - slowly. Are you taking Tylenol? That helps too.
  5. Thanks for the concern! I seem to be fine now. I guess it was just a one time thing. Dr. Didn't seem worried as long as I was still able to keep food & liquids down afterwards. Still not positive about what the cause was.
  6. I'm not sure what's going on this morning. I'm 2 weeks post op. I woke up this morning having to poop, a lot! Then I started dry heaving & then got a nose bleed. Anyone experience anything like this?
  7. I thought that too, but my doctor said there should be some movement anyway.
  8. I had surgery on Tuesday & haven't had a bowl movement since Sunday. My tummy is so sore today! I've been drinking some prune juice along with my liquid diet. I've also been adding benefiber. Did anyone else have this issue?
  9. I'm right there with you, my surgery is on Tuesday!
