  7. I had the same situation. I ate a meal or two. My bariatrician said to be 100% compliant three days before surgery. Until then I was semi compliment. I crashed emotionally. Also didn't lose weight. But make some hearty bone broth. I feel like the two week preop is training for the seven days full liquid diet after which is harder. Reach out if you're struggle. Pm me.
  8. Same. Part of my telling people was because I had to deal with the shame and feeling like a failure part of wls. And it sure as hell ain't the easy way out.
  9. Hi Folks. I was sleeved 7/17. Just started puree and tried to eat in a restaurant. Tried to puree in my mouth. That didn't work. I'm having trouble getting water in. With you on the genepro I can taste and I'm so tired of it. I'm trying to go fully natural on puréed so I don't have to have shakes. I'm so tired of sickly sweet things. I've always struggled getting enough protein. Excited to be on this journey with you all. Eman

  11. Congratulations!!
  12. I was sleeved 7/17. I'm down 13 since surgery and I don't even see it.
  13. I feel you. Emotionally this has been tough. And the desire to stuff the face is real. My husband has been supportive but he isn't handling the emotional stuff to great. Think of the emotional as a purge too. I had three separate meltdowns.
  14. I'm in my first day of puréed and I ended up trying to puree in my mouth. That didn't work. During dinner had pain in my back that was strange. Woken up at 5:30 am with pain and general discomfort. Something between nerves and upset stomach. Just ate some of cream wheat to see if it was just hunger pain but the pain hasn't really subsided. How long do I wait before calling the doc? Is this normal? I was sleeved 7/17/17
  15. Real food tastes soooooo good.
  16. Check back in with your bariatric doc and get some blood work done. Maybe it is a hormone issue or something.
  17. I've been drinking a glass of prune juice every morning

  21. Hi Folks new to the site. What I had prepared for post op was not what I expected. Physically everything was a ok. But emotionally a dam broke. And I'm finally feeling like I'm floating above water. No one told me about this. Not even the psychologist. I'm an abuse survivor and that relates directly to my weight gain and stuff. But I just was not prepared for what the last few days have brought. I'm grateful for everything that happened and I have a good therapist and good enough support system. Just wanted to put that out there and if anyone needs anything they can reach out. I am back my wedding weight of 11 years ago.
