  3. I went to barix in langhorne w/ my aunt who had RNY by Dr Marymore 8 yrs ago. Met w/ Dr Marymore. Loved him. Met w/ nut- said I had to do 6mths nut. The ins. Dept were rude and didn't provide correct info. So I went to Mercy Fitzgerald to Dr Ramachandra. THE BEST!!!! His staff@Fitzgerald Mercy &Mercy Phila are THE BEST!!!! They made all appts, took care all paperwork & 2mths later.RNY was done. They tell you ahead of time whats needed to get approved. They have monthly nutrition & support group meetings. Also, you can have 1:1w/ nut so you can get in req ahead of time. PAguy go somewhere else
  4. Awwwh. First let me start by saying-- CONGRATS ON YOUR RE-BIRTH DAY!!!! I had the RNY done May 17, 2017. Second, everyone is different. I had pain, which required dilauded, for two days while in hosp. Once I got home. I more so had discomfort @ right side surgical site next to my navel. It felt more like a pulling sensation only when I turned in bed or bent over. Each day got better.Last, the doctor told me I couldn't lift more than fifty pounds for approx 4wks. Everyone is different and doctors orders differ too. So, I would just run it past my Dr. and once you get home you'll get a feel for how it will be for you. Wish you the best & please post your updates or DM me. Would love to hear from you. Take care of the lil one!! Sent from my SM-G360T1 using BariatricPal mobile app

  11. No I didn't keep my surgery a secret. Boy do I regret it. Someone I know had the surgery prior to me told me not to tell anyone because ppl are going to hate. I didnt believe it because I'm always supportive & compliment others. I told my sister in law and she went on for hours about all the ppl she knows that had unsuccessful surgeries and I'm going to have all this flabby skin. She even went as far as stop talking to me. Smh I am so hurt!!
