  6. I had mine on 12th too. Walking, even rocking in rocking chair help with gas pain. I use a warm pack on my abdomen and shoulders, it helps gas dissipate. I used a glycerine suppository, it helped me pass some gas. TMI. Rest some, but walk more. Water, water, water...in small sips.

  10. Thanks. I sure understand not wanting to change meds that are working well. Glad to hear i might not be off my meds long. I was afraid of maybe bad withdrawal or seizures from suddenly stopping these meds. Keep in touch folks, ok?
  11. I've not had surgery yet, it's Sept 12th, but have the same question.
  12. I've been dreading the liquid pre-op diet so much that I started it 2 days early so I could just get on with it and stop the anxiety/dread. About to end day 2, which was way easier than day 1. I don't dread the surgery or fluids after when my stomach will be smaller and sore. I almost backed out, I had gotten so worked up dreading this part.
