I agree, that's two month weight loss.

Cut Calories and Excercise and no weight loss
With cutting out those things, what is your typical diet. The key to losing weight, isn't just about carbs, but it's great you're starting there. Also, even w/out losing the weight, you can still lose inches.

Gained almost all my weight back
A bit harsh, yeah?

Gained almost all my weight back
Now, w/ this response, I'll agree. A part of me wants to believe "Sammie", is just trying to get a rise out of someone.

Lost 290 pounds- Self Esteem issues
I agree w/ what others have said, think about how far you've come. YOU look, amazing!!! Whenever you look in the mirror and have negative thoughts, think about where you were. Girl, you look GREAT, never think or feel anything less.

Horrible bathroom problems
When I felt the cramps of constipation, I would gulp down a bit of Milk of Magnesia and that cured my issue. For some odd reason, cherries are now like a laxative for me, so I may munch on a couple of those if needed. Have you heard back from your MD, if so, what was their possible solution?

Opioid Malabsorption
I've cried w/ a patient who wasn't able to get her Fentanyl Patches, she was fighting cancer. Luckily, they overturned our denial.

Opioid Malabsorption
Long term use, you'll gain among other things.

Opioid Malabsorption
To be honest, my heart breaks for them. Their Dr's, have to fight for them by submitting every bit of medical documentation they have. Believe it or not, those Dr's speak for the member and have been table to get PA's approved/ overturn denials. Sadly, those who abuse it, ruin it for those who need it.

Opioid Malabsorption
It somewhat works the same. They have a certain Script they must use, if not, the Script will not be valid(in some cases, the police are called w/ the patient in the pharmacy). The patients go into a database and we have full access to that database. Some people think "they don't care about us, they don't want to see us get better, they don't understand my pain." Trust me, we understand most are not honest.

Opioid Malabsorption
I've had several patients try to convince me, why they needed their C2's and some, I even caught "Dr.shopping". You'd be surprised, you never know what story to believe. We can only go by what the Dr's send, that is where we base our decisions. You have the plan criteria and the FDA criteria.
-
Opioid Malabsorption
My apologies, I'm so used to the way I speak at work. C2's - Opioids (mostly), are considered controlled drugs. Many many many many people, abuse the heck out of them. They whine, lie, and act as if the world is falling apart because we will not accept their "medical necessity" for an overuse of a certain C2. You'd be amazed!
-
Opioid Malabsorption
When I hear a patient speak about C2's, I cringe. There are so many rules and regulations surrounding them, you have to be very careful and your Dr's, I'm sure, will work within their guidelines. The FDA is on them like white on rice, so playing around while choosing the right one, can be a bit misleading and could make you appear to a "pill shopper". When it comes to submitting a PA for the new meds, make sure they come from your pain management Dr. and make sure they're very specific when it comes to your needs and why the other medications did not work. It sounds like you have a pain management Dr., who looks at you as another C2 person, they all sing the same song. Very few, are genuine. I wish you luck!

TLC's MY 600-LB LIFE Casting Call for Season 7!
I simply stated an opinion and someone got butt hurt over it. Yes, some people are lazy, as I said, I was too at some point. I don't favor this show, but as most of you have stated, it does help those who truly need it. It does upset me sometimes, when I see people on that show not value the opportunity they've been given. If you read more into what I said or say, not my issue. In most cases, I'd say "get over yourself", but I'll refrain. Stay beautiful everyone!

Is there an alternate to popcorn craving?
I try not to have popcorn, but if I do, I'll get the 100 calorie pack. I am questionable when it comes to popcorn, so I turned that like over to pork rinds. They have protein, and are a healthy snack.

Bloated without gas
It's possible. I thought any form of #2 was enough, but in my case, it wasn't and I was still constipated.
-
Bloated without gas
I had that issue and felt very bloated. It was at the point, my whole body started to hurt. I took a laxative and, I felt so much better hours later. That was the first time I truly understood the feeling of being constipated.
-
Bloated without gas
Not to be too graphic, but are your bowels regular?

Premier Protein!
Banana, eh. The caramel, YES!!!!!! I love that one.

TLC's MY 600-LB LIFE Casting Call for Season 7!
Mkay This could go on all day and I honestly, don't want to invest the time into something that is simply opinion based. Congrats on your weight loss and in my opinion, you look great. lol

TLC's MY 600-LB LIFE Casting Call for Season 7!
Oh, I guess I missed something. My "opinion" attacked no one, or maybe for the overly-sensitive it did. Heck, there were points of my life where I was very lazy, therefore, the weight piled on. Apart of the story: At one point, we are irresponsible and create some of the issues that we faced and what some still face. Smile, you are loved.

TLC's MY 600-LB LIFE Casting Call for Season 7!
Well, I'm sorry my opinion struck a chord. Thankfully, not all opinions are there to be made into a truth. Have a beautiful day

Alcohol after Sleeve
Goodness, I'm almost two years out and still can not hold 4-6 oz at one time, be careful. With having the surgery, some things you truly have to say goodbye to and mostly, drinking the way you did, is one of them.

Alcohol after Sleeve
I'm a martini girl and will have one about once a month, that was ok'd by my Dr. Like the gentleman said above, carbonation, do your best to stay away from. My Dr. says, don't deprive yourself, but understand your limits and restrictions. If you lack the discipline, don't do it at all. And what he said, is so true. I can't finish a martini unless I'm at home, I get tipsy so quickly.
