I had this surgery about 6 months ago and I have stopped losing weight has anyone experienced this and what has worked to get back on track?

Well the recovery kind of sucked [emoji24] but I got through it. I have lost a total of 25 pounds and I wish I would have done a better preop diet so that I would be at 40 pounds down. It was hard for me to not want to eat my moms cooking but the surgery helped anytime I went to eat something it just came up. I am tired but happy overall. How are you doing

How is it going? Did I get the Plication?

I am scared, excited. My family would never understand the struggle I have with food. All of my family is diabetic. I am sure I will be one day as well. I am doing this surgery for my 9 month old daughter and for myself. I want to be healthy and I want to do everything in my power to do so. I have struggled with my weight for 15 years and I'm tired. I hope this all works I'm so tired and I'm barely two weeks in the preop diet stage.

First of all thank you for sharing your experience. I wanted to ask you if your health insurance had a problem with you having this procedure in Mexico and having to repair it. Were you charged for everything they did to you? I am getting the Plication Thursday please let me know. -

4 days post op! Not losing a lot of weight am concerned did anyone else have this problem.
