  1. Oh good, I was starting to think it was just me lol it made me nervous
  2. Wow great for you! You will have a surgery date before you know it! I'm sure that's going to be so hard... at least you will lose a lot of weight pre-op.. that's a positive! lol
  3. Hey there! After doing my 6 month check-ins with my doctor, I am FINALLY approved by insurance and have a surgery date of October 10th. I have noticed on here that a lot of people have to do a liquid pre-op diet before surgery. My surgeon has me doing a pre-op diet that pretty much mirrors a ketogenic lifestyle. I'm curious to see if anyone else's program is this way? I can basically have any protein or vegetable I want, as long as it isn't startchy. It doesn't seem like it's going to be too bad for the 13 days. I just heard the withdraws from carbs can be bad. If anyone has any good snack or meal ideas, I'd love to hear them
  4. I have BCBS but I live in Kentucky. I chatted online with my insurance company every day like two weeks after it was submitted. I found out that they hadn't received it from my office. The rep called and asked them to re-fax... I was literally approved overnight at that point. So make sure you are actively contacting your insurance company so you can make sure they have received it. Good luck!
  5. I use Topix! Haven't ever heard of Caboki but I'm assuming they are similar and if they have good reviews it would be worth a try.
  6. If I were you, I would try to fibers first. If your problem is more on top and not the thickness. I have both (thinning top and extremely thin hair) but the fibers work wonders when my extensions are not in. I think you will really like them.
  7. I know how terrible it feels to be balding, especially on top. One other thing that I swear by and use along side my extensions is hair fibers. They stick to your scalp and help cover the spots and help blend your hair better. I get mine from Sally's Beauty Supply but you can find them on amazon as well. They made me feel like a woman again and helped cover one of my biggest insecurities. Good luck to you!!
  8. Sorry I don't check this often and hadn't seen your comment! They are not difficult at all to put in.. I watched several tutorials, however you may need an extra set of hands to help with the back of your head! You can usually get the stuff to do them at a local beauty supply store.
  9. No problem at all! I would be lost without my extensions. I think you will start regaining confidence about your hair. I keep mine just a little longer than my regular hair but my purpose for them is to help with thickness good luck!
  10. Babe Hair Extensions are 100% good quality Remi Hair and they have the halo extensions. I have struggled with hair loss due to my PCOS for years and I am preparing to lose more after surgery. I have always used the itip extensions by babe. They clamp on with a bead and have actually made my hair healthier and grow back because it prevents the heat from my straightener from touching my roots. I seriously could not make it without my extensions. Being a woman with extremely thin hair is not easy at all.
