  1. It's not about the pain. It's about the fact your getting in under 500 calories. Which is no were near enough for a breastfeeding mum. It's irresponsible to exclusively breastfeed on such a small amount. Your body needs 500 extra calories when breastfeeding. Some mum's have the surgery and supliment with formula as well as continue breastfeeding to insure their child gets the nutrients needed. I was under the impression op wants to exclusively breastfeed.
  2. Obviously your milk will reduce. Or dry up and even if it doesn't it will reduce in nutrients. At least wait till your child is fully on solids. But as someone who did breastfeeding training and nurse both my children I can be honest that your Dr isn't concerned about you nursing your child so most will just insist you go ahead. But we have to use our common sense. I agree wait till one year.
  3. Nothing solid. Just anything pureed.
  4. I'm down almost 60lbs so I'm happy. Be a hater if it makes you thrive
  5. Exactly. Lol your only allowed to have an opinion if you've been sleeveds 10 years. It's pathetic. No ones immune to having problems on this journey. And if a year out I gain the weight I'll take responsibility and face it. I'm not judging anyone . People make themselves feel better to make out like someone under a year can't be right but at the end of the day. It doesn't effect me if someone has 10 surgeries. I have no agenda she can go ahead. But if it was me I'd like a reality check.
  6. I'm not a super hero. I'm trying to help her as I've seen people have a sleeve then another surgery when there is things that need to be resolved. Simple as that . I'm not local though but thanks.
  7. I saw someone online who's had 4 wls surgery's and was seeing if there was anything else she could do as she couldn't control her eating so she wanted another surgery...just think If she used that money for counselling maybe two surgeries ago she would have been successful. So heavy on the surgery being the cure. Our minds are in control. We need to nurture it. Help it grow as we all make mistakes.dont run away from underlying issues. Face them.
  8. Aww are they revising your mind? Otherwise I can't see how that will help in the long run. What's stopping you from regaining after a revision.. your still the same person.. I'm confused.
  9. 4 ounces of dense protein... You feel no restrictions with that either?
  10. What's wrong with just going back to basics and mainly protein? You sound like how I used to be always need to do something drastic to get back on track. There is no need. Going back to basics will do the trick. You can do it
  11. Is rice allowed on your plan?
  12. There's no need to try sooner than 6, weeks that's the earliest I've seen. Why the rush? No judgement you may feel sick . How far out are you. No one here will encourage you to go against your doctor's plan even if it's allowed on their plan . This community is not designed to encourage you to go against your doctor's.
  13. Who's got time for all this? Not me. If you know they are going to make it all about them why keep telling people lol couldn't care less about others opinions so only told one person. Avoided all this .no regrets .. I'm light weight and would have had the same.
  14. Daily eating? Can't help if I don't know what your eating . But it's also true stalls happen
  15. The obvious answer is to seek medical help.( Face to face not call) Asap.. No one has xray vision to see into your body. And there is no point anyone guessing.
  16. I tried wearing them after but it really was not comfortable so I waited till I didn't her pain when touching the areA
  17. I wouldn't make spice food in advance in case you can't deal with it after. You need to keep it basic at first. But I eat spicey food.
  18. How far post are you? I keep it simple 3 ounce protien 1 ounce vegetable. Or 2 protein 1 ounce dairy 1 ounce vegetable. Meat balls. Fish. Steak. Eggs. Etc. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  19. Is egg 4 days post op in your plan ? I was not allowed eggs till 5 weeks.. Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
  20. Ooh well I'm sorry I didn't tell you what you needed to hear.
  21. Weldone !! Your doing amazing
  22. 4 months post. And I sometimes lack energy to open a water bottle lol.
  23. Has others heard this ? I've seen people say lose as much weight as you can.. instead of say if you reach goal under a year don't go into maintenance lose Abit more as alot of people are likely to get bounce back ? Some regain .. Is this true ? My goal is 135lbs to be at 24 bmi .. thinking about it.. if I get regain I'll be instantly overweight again. Should my goal weight be lower just in case there is regain ? If so how much lower ? Thanks
  24. You look amazing. May I ask what your bmi will be at your goal weight ? I was told to go lower than my goal to account for bounce back weight. No idea if that's what everyone experiences. My goal is 135lbs (24 bmi) I think if I get there I'll go to 115 to allow for regain. I'm 188 now. Weldone
  25. I'm shocked. Someone's spitting blood up and still wondering if they should go to the hospital. Oh no. Stay at home... Even though splitting up blood is obviously not normal. .. And now your asking if you should still go when people have already told you too. I don't get it.
