  1. Medical marijuana user and I was sleeved June 27th. Used marijuana as a pain med the first two days after surgery. I’ve lost 102lbs in 6 months so it doesn’t seem to have effected my weight loss!
  2. 35 from Massachusetts. Sleeved June 27, 17 : )
  3. My husband did the same thing and we work at the same company! I still feel the same way three months later and the trust isn't there like it used to be. I'm sorry!
  4. I had gastric sleeve and they took me off the metformin the day I had surgery. My depression caused from pcos has literally gone away and I don't feel cysts anymore. My periods are still a little crazy but that's because of hormone changes. I had no idea how much pcos was a factor in my life until Titus surgery and I am down 75lbs in three months and feeling amazing!
  5. I make them in muffin tins and sometimes make a bacon crust. So good and tons of flavor combinations.
  6. Good luck girl!!! You are going to do amazing
  7. Lol me too! I crave pizza have one bite and then only eat the toppings! But I have been there as well. Be VERY proud of yourself for catching it and making a good decision! Your must be doing something right
  8. I don't enjoy pasta anymore and bread is not high on my list. At first all the tastes were like hi-def in my month but now three months out I am back to normal. But I don't want the same type of carb foods now I crave protien and red meat. I see how you might be concerned about not enjoying the same things but in my experience I don't even look at food the same. Your body does not have the same hormones after surgery. Best of luck with it all! It was the best thing that ever happened to me and I can't believe I waited so damn long to do it!!!
  9. I laid in bed searching Pinterest for recipes the first two weeks after making my own recipe book lol... huge fan of muffin tin quiches with bacon crust. And any type of meatball!
  10. I would rather the loose skin than the weight. I love what has happened to my health, life, and body since surgery three months ago. I would make this decision a million times over
  11. And on the bright side... your skin won't be as loose if you lose slower. You will get there!
  12. I use baritastic. It's pretty helpful.
  13. Thank you all for taking the time out of your day to help me out. I will try alll of your suggestions. I had the sleeve surgery and I know this is only temporary! But getting off the scale is my first move. Thank you again!!
  14. I am 3 months post op and have lost 73lbs. The last few weeks I keep losing and gaining the same pound which I am fine with but the past three days I'm up two pounds. Any suggestions? I follow the eating plan. I eat by the clock because I rarely experience hunger. I log EVERYTHING, exercise, and eat my protein goal of 75g. The only issue I have ever had is a struggle to get a full 64 ounces of water in and usually only get in 60. Any suggestions or tips? I know this is only temporary!
  15. I just had my month check in with the surgeon after not losing a thing for week three. I just lost a pound and I am in the middle of week four now. Apparently week three and four are tough. And remember your body is still healing. Keep your head up.
  16. Thank you guys! It's nice to know that other people have experienced this feeling. I swear sometimes it feels like I crazy. Or lately a dead battery lol.
  17. Well I doubt that my husband is insecure. I caught him cheating again... and I want to end my marriage and I'm just emotional about that. And I have general depression. I'm trying to work on myself and I know all this is temporary I just don't have much support.
  18. Hey, I had the sleeve done 6/27 and I'm down 38 lbs and doing fantastic. But I need someone I can talk to. The second week of my recovery I have had some issues with my husband and now don't really have anyone to turn to. Losing the fat is making my emotions go crazy lol. I just need a friend...
  19. I was 6/27. I have been making a cook book of things I want to eat in the future.
