  1. My insurance covered mine in 2010 and I have never had a kid. I was a 40DD/DDD and had documentation of years of chiropractic appointments and back issues with playing sports. I went to a 38C (was a 36C but gained some weight to a 38). I'm crossing my fingers I still have decent breasts when I get done losing weight haha.
  2. If you discuss with plastic surgeons it can affect your scar color for the entire first year. Plus you are asking to develop skin cancer.
  3. I'm going back this coming week and I was sleeved on 7/10. I am not 100% for sure and I get tired easier than normal (I'm still walking dogs daily, running a few errands at a time, driving, etc) still but I think we can make it work. I'm a hospital based physician so my group is going to try to keep my patients in a couple floors/units of hospital so I don't have to run all over the first week and then I can go at my own pace to see patients and "rest" by sitting and writing notes between them as needed.
  4. I agree with checking Hemoglobin with an iron profile and B12. I would also check your thyroid levels.
  5. I would go and just eat minimal amounts and focus on being social and talking. I was very upfront with my coworkers, I'm a physician in a large group and knew that if I started dropping weight and barely eating they would either know I had surgery or ask me about an eating disorder. Everyone has been so supportive and surprisingly multiple people had a relative or friend who has had bariatric surgery. I'm now 11 days post-op and while I'm not going back to work for a few days they have all been messaging me to check on me. Sometimes people can be critical but for me I felt being honest worked best.
  6. I had surgery July 10th and since then have not been able to stomach premier protein which I drank daily for over 2 months before surgery. I also struggled with the protein powder from my surgeons office. I ordered some nectar products and some of the fruit drinks from the store here and in conjunction with fairlife milk am able to get enough in now thank goodness.
