September Sleevers- How are you feeling??
For all you September Sleevers just like me on FB look for September Sleevers 2017... it's a place you can share your thoughts, concerns, and be supportive with each other. I was sleeved on 9/15 everything was smooth for me no meds after the hospital for me. I am able to write my elliptical and on purée foods I started 218 and at 203 right now. The only problem I had was I couldn't stand my shakes so I ended up buying genepro from GNC it literally has no taste and 30 grams on protein per scoop. You can add it to your water, soup, broth basically anything... Good Luck Sleevers! We got this!![emoji3]

You're stomach will do this it's new so it will make weird feelings and contractions....Good Luck and Welcome to the Loser Bench!- Taste
My taste buds changed I was sleeved on 9/15 and can't stand the taste or smell of protein shakes. I've been trying all types to get my protein in. Instead of doing 3 shakes I'll do a isopure 40grams, Greek yogurt 15grams, and 6 grams with milk. I'm still on liquid so can't wait to change phase so I can get my protein.- Sleeping on your side?
I been sleeved on 9/15 and I slept on my side and stomach. Nothing hurts and I'm comfortable in fact I'm laying on my stomach as I write this.

- September Sleevers- How are you feeling??
Hi September Sleevers!! I was sleeved on 9/15 I had no pain the hospital stay was very relaxing did my walks on the hospital floor had to keep up with the old Asian guy that question why I was only doing one walk around and he does 4 so my competitive side came out and I had to do 5 rounds. Lol! Came home on 9/17 on a full liquid diet my shakes I could handle the first day and a half then my taste buds didn't want any so I had to try several different ones to get my protein. I'm kinda cheating substituting a shake meal for a yogurt that has 15grams. I've so far walked everyday and today I finally let out a tiny baby size pebble of poop so at least that still works. Good Luck everyone!! You got this! HW 233 SW 214 CW 208 GW 127 Height 5'1- Anyone scheduled for september

My surgery is schedule for September 15th at 7am. I am excited! All this hard work and life changes is finally paying off and I can't wait for my surgery day.- PROTEIN SHAKES & NUTRITION Pre/Post-Op
My doctor recommended the premier protein shakes it has 30g protein, 160 calories and 1g carb. I haven't tried it yet, I just picked up tonight banana and cream flavor so I will find out tomorrow if it tastes yummy. That's great your staying focus, motivated and making the right choices.- Scheduled but NOT approved... Normal?
Congratulations SouthJersey! So happy for you!!- Paid By Insurance
My insurance will cover my sleeve surgery and if I can have skin surgery in the same year then my out of pocket cost would be $2,000 for everything. I am hoping I can get both in the same year but I am still in the pre-op stage. - September Sleevers- How are you feeling??
