U are always going to be scared and have people that are throwing negativity toward the surgery. Life is too short for u to keep backing out. I backed out for 6 yrs because my family kept telling me to excersize and I can loose it on my own like it is that easy. U have to say screw it to the people that don't want u to have it if thats really what u want. I have to say this is the best decision I have ever made. I was on my way to diabetes and high cholesterol now both are completely gone and I am healthy and have no issues at all with taking vitamins if anything i get too much my surgeon told me to cut back. Everyone is different so do this for u.[emoji178]

Look into it cuz I was told for 4 months that I had gastritis and had an ulcer when altogether the whole time I had a failing gallbladder... Sucked... Good luck hun.

I am almost 2 years out. At about 8 months got a haircut, my hair stopped falling out and I already had new hair growth.

Thank you so much I love the new me the old me was sad and didnt have no confidence... Now so happy and the confidence I got along the way is great.

I can't believe i am almost 2 yrs out jus thought I would post since I haven't in a while. I am still down with my weight which is awesome I stay between 130-and 133lbs never felt better. I can wear shorts, dresses , finally anything I want to.

One year ago today I had the gastric bypass. Best decision i have ever made. had high cholesterol and about to be on meds for diabetes. now all my bloodwork is normal. I am very proud of myself. Highest weight: 274 lbs surgery weight: 232 lbs goal weight: 140 lbs Current weight: 130 lbs Now I can get my referral for to fix my diastasis (ripped open ab musles from having 3 kids) and a free tummy tuck. Cant wait.

in 3 months i am gettin a tummy tuck because i have diyastatis with is ur ab muscles rip from having kids.. so they are gna sew up my muscle and give me a free tummy tuck sounds good to me lol

i got my surgery on friday oct 13. this was a long rode and still is. trying to deal with a new life is hard... but well worth it. My highest weight: 274lbs My surgery weight : 232lbs My goal weight was 140lbs jus went to the doctors my weight now is 132lbs she said i jus loose 7 more lbs and i will b done loosing weight. my bmi is finally normal it is 24.. they said i lost 70 % of my body weight...
