    Cruise "Mocktails"

is it true you can't stretch it? i've been wondering why i can eat more now that a couple months ago. i'm only 4 months post op, but i'm usually eating around 1400 calories a day. also working out and lifting some heavy weights to stay fit.

    Cruise "Mocktails"

it could be. think about it this way tho. if you drink a 500 calorie drink you're also not eating 5000 calories on top of it like you would have. you're still doing the right thing. all about balance. you've done so well for so long. enjoy it, brother.

    Cruise "Mocktails"

agreed as well. my daily intake is what i used to eat in an entire meal. this procedure is LIFE CHANGING. enjoy yourself, keep working out and pay attention, but ENJOY YOURSELF. you have this awesome new life now. it takes time and dedication but don't overthink it. have fun, let loose and enjoy your cruise, sir!

    Epic stall :(

sounds like you're doing everything correctly. i'm in the same boat. down 80lbs since feb and i've stalled out over the last month. i run 5 miles three times a week and log all of my calories keeping sub 1300 a day. i feel like stalls kinda work themselves out. you're definitely at a calorie deficit and you're killing it with exercise. if someone has advice i'd love to hear it as well. but for me the stalls have gone away after a while.
  5. anyone have surgery around this date? would love to share successes and failures and keep each other motivated. i'm a 34/male, started Feb 1 at 360lbs currently at 306. goal is 200lbs. john

    4 1/2 weeks post op

i'm roughly the same distance out as you. i definitely make protein the priority and hit 90-110g a day. my average calories are 900-1100. i thought it was a lot but have spoken to my dr and he assures me it's normal. i'm 6'1 and he said i should be hitting about 1500 calories a day after a few months. the fact that that seems like a ton of food is a good thing in my mind. good luck to you!

    Diet Questions

Hey all! Had my sleeve on March 23. Curious as to what my calorie intake should be roughly four weeks out. I'm currently consuming 900-1100 calories a day, easily hitting my protein goal (80-100g a day). i've seen a lot of posts on here about how people are having trouble and still can't keep food down, etc. am i just lucky? am i doing something wrong? i feel really good and have been jogging two to three times a week. down almost 30lbs since the operation and about 60lbs down since feb 1 when i started my pre op diet. thanks! John

    March 8th Sleever!

i've had a lot of success with those 2.5 oz tuna and salmon pre-flavored packets, ground chicken with taco seasoning and some cheddar cheese, re-fried beans, egg salad, smoked salmon with capers and cream cheese, scrambled eggs and a fage yogurt for breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. it's a good enough variety and super tasty. glad you're feeling great! keep up the good work.
