  1. Yes, soft foods have been amazing! I was very ready for some variety. My high was 316, 278 on the day of surgery and 254 this morning. I have been walking, trying to do 30 mins 3x per week. My doctor released me at 3 weeks to start exercise agajn as I had before, so I do a 1 he LesMills Bodypump class 2x per week. I struggle meeting my fluids goal of 64, but protein is no problem. I get afraid it didn't work correctly for me, I havent had any issues eating anything. Too much of something makes me really full, but I have nowhere near as much difficulty as I have heard from some. What are some of your favorites to make?

  3. I am 4 weeks post op tomorrow. I have lost 18 lbs since surgery and my weightloss is not the issue. I feel hungry. I hate the hunger feeling. I keep reading about others that don't even want to eat/drink. I get 64 oz water, I eat 700 calories and I feel sometimes like that isn't enough. I have eaten 800 a few times. I am still losing, so I am wondering if I am the only one? I have found no intolerances, I eat 6-8 oz at each meal. I take my vitamins, I get one vegetable, one fruit, one starch and at least 70 protein each day. I start my soft foods tomorrow. Does anyone have any insight to this?

  5. I find that sleeping propped up on pillows is helpful for gas. I am 3 days post op and have been able to manage my gas with GasX strips and propping.

  8. Canned soups and a strainer. Remembering to drink lots of water. I am current on day 5 of my 10 day and i got past the hangry/tired stage. Once your body stop telling you something is wrong, then it's just your mind playing with you. Best of luck! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  9. I am on day 3 of my liquid diet - any suggestions of things others might be eating to spice up their life?
