  1. I am also in Charlotte and would be interested.
  2. Hello! I am right there with you. Surgery date 3/16. Start weight 222. Current weight 172. Haven't lost anything to speak of in 2 months.
  3. I agree. The "maintenance " part is going to be as hard or harder than the losing part.
  4. I would imagine that the more you have to lose, the greater your loss will be on a monthly basis. I started with only 70-80 lbs to lose, so it will go much slower than someone that has 100+ lbs to lose. Keep it in perspective and know the numbers of the calories in vs calories out don't lie.
  5. If mine holds that much I have never tried to get that much in. I feel full after the 3.5 oz so I'm not going to risk getting sick.
  6. You will be a month behind me. The first few weeks may be a little rough
  7. Let me know how that goes! I wish I could be so motivated!
  8. Mary - are you having the sleeve?
  9. I have had a severe lack of energy, but went back to work 4 days post op so that may have zapped any energy I should have had. It is getting better now. Listen to your body.
  10. I am hungry, but afraid to eat too much at one time or too fast. I started eating cottage cheese and yogurt after about a week
  11. Lauren- I have had some similar issues with the scale not moving at all and being up a lb. Seems like the weight loss has slowed down dramatically. I was sleeved on 3/16. Starting weight was about 220 prior to 2 week liquid diet and am at 193/194 now. You have lost WAY more than me ! You are doing great!
  12. I use a baby spoon to eat with and only eat 3.5 oz at a time. If that settles and is good and I want more, and feel like I can eat more, then I do. Most of the time that is enough. Sleeved 3/16/17.
  13. I had the sleeve done on 3/16 and totally understand where you are coming from. Each day gets better.
  14. Hello Mary. I had the gastric sleeve done at Lake Norman Hospital with Dr Heider on 3/16. Is that who you are using ?
