Ive told everybody and their mother. I like sharing what I've been through and what I'm still going through. I could careless what people have to say after I've shared my secert on losing weight. Most just say cool , others say let me get the doctor's number...lol

it could be swelling or that your band is too tight. i went to the doctor today 2 get an unfill cause i was too tight and was having major chest pains

yea well my whole chest hurts not only my left side

i usually get them wen i over eat..if im eating and i hiccup i stop eatin A.S.A.P...cuz after that come the vomiting...i juss wanna kno why if freakin hurts so bad!!!!!

well im 9 months post op in sept. and wen i hiccup it hurts like hell !!.. i guest it doesn't go away cuz if it did i would have a few months ago

omg!!..when ever i get hiccups its unbearable.. my chest feels like sum1 is stomping on it and very tight !!

it just started happening about 3weeks ago and never had any problems before. Ive noticed that if i dont eat or drink anything about 2-3 hrs b4 i go 2 sleep it doesnt happen

i cant sleep at night because i keep coughing and with the cough comes up whatever i ate or drank earlier. Its horrible i feel like im gonna suffocate. any help or suggestions on whats causing this or what i can do 2 stop it????

Its the port. You're still swollen and only a few days post op. Your gonna be like this for a while. I had pain up too 4 months post op. I was having pain and discomfort. If i moved, twisted or stretched in any type of way i was in serious pain. My doctor always said just give it time, it takes time to heal. Sure enough I got no pain today.

well if your 1st fill is on 7/7 that means u don't have any restriction so u gonna keep eating like a horse. so don't panic, once you get filled you'll feel a difference.

yes horrible!!!1...i went through the same crap about a month ago. my doc couldn't find my port neither. he poked me 5 x's n couldn't find it, so he sent me in another room for a ultrasound to find my port which resulted in getting poked another 3 x's. ahhh i was sweating bullets !! lol ..but after 30 minz he finally found my port n filled me!...who said beauty wasn't painful??!..

well I personally didn't ask 4 smart remarks but I guess this thread attracts them

yea you can drink as much as you want. i don't know about pounding down a bottle of water though. if you drink to much of anything at one shot you're gonna be sorry ! ! it's just gonna sit there and give you tremendous pain !

i got no idea..thats why i just drink regular milk

my last fill which was about a month ago was horrible. My doctor couldn't find my port. He poked me about 7 times and kept wiggling the needle in my stomach. It took about 30 minutes to find my port and fill me up. He says your port moves from time to time. but if it moves to a completely different location from where it was placed then theres a problem. As for not losing weight, you're at a stand still right now. Don't get discouraged you'll shed pounds when you least expect it once you get that sweet spot.

how long since you've been out of surgery? Is the wound near or on any of the surgery cuts? Does your Port hurt?.. If "NO" to any of these you'll be fine. Just call your Doctor just to be safe. Better sae then sorry.

Nothing at all will happen. the only thing you can expect is to be on liquids for 24-48 hrs. depending on your doctor. After band fills you can continue your regular life just without any eating of course for a day or so..lol good luck
