Spouse struggles, Supportive or not?
Really??? I just can't imagine doing that if I really loved my partner. Maybe it is just me but marriage is for better or worse so you have to be willing to give some things up and sacrifice if it is in the best interest of the one you love.

16 months post op 89 pound weight loss
You look great!!!

Weight loss calculators/predictors at each month
The statistics are based on averages. You don't have to be average. Your weight loss will depend on genetics, and how well you follow your plan. You can't control genetics, but you can control your motivation and how well you develop healthy eating and exercise. Many people on this site have lost 100 % of their excess weight, some took longer, some did it quicker. It really doesn't matter as long as you reach your goal. I have lost 85% of my excess weight at almost 4 months post-op. I fully intend to reach 100%.

Weight loss breakdown
At 5 months out you have lost an average of about 10 lbs a month. I think that is great progress. This is not a sprint but a marathon. As long as you are making permanent long term changes to the way you eat, it doesn't matter if it takes you 1 year or 2 years to reach your goal. Keep up the great work!!

Ok, how bad did this REALLY hurt??!
Honestly the nausea was worse then the pain the first day. My incisions never really bothered me at all. I had some gas pain that worked its way out the first 3 days. I was off pain meds by day 3 except for Tylenol at bedtime. I went to Sea World and was walking on the beach in San Diego on day 4 and 5 post op. I just walked slow and sat down when I needed to. I feel like this was a relatively easy recovery.

May 15th, 2017 Sleevers Check in Here!!!
Yes!! They wanted to do sonograms every two weeks and she told me today that she was only going to agree to once a month. She felt like it was excessive and expensive. She already has her regular OB appts. and now the appointments with the specialist every month also... That is why she wanted me to go with her today to help her speak up and ask questions...

We feel the same way. All children are gifts from God. The doctors just keep throwing something new at her every week and I think she is getting emotionally weary with worrying. I think they order all of these tests to cover themselves from getting sued for malpractice.

Spouse struggles, Supportive or not?
I would suggest counseling if you can't resolve this on your own. He needs to get on the same page with you or at the very least you two need to reach a compromise that you are both willing to live with. I pray he will begin to see how he needs to get on board and support your desire to eat healthy and to teach your son healthy eating habits.

Going crazy and need advice
The same thing happened to me when I started running. When you first begin exercising it can cause some water weight gain in your muscles. It will come back off in week or so. Exercise stresses our bodies and that plays a roll.

What's In Your Lunch Box
Lately my lunches have been a 4oz salad with 1 oz of walnuts and 2tbls of orange seseme dressing. I usually pack a power crunch protein bar for an afternoon snack since lunch is at 11:00 am and dinner is often not until 6-6:30.

May 15th, 2017 Sleevers Check in Here!!!
I am sitting at 167.3-167 the last few days. I am amazed at how I only bounce by about .3 of a pound now. I have a feeling that these last 10 pounds are gonna be so slowww. But that is ok with me. I am off today and went with my daughter to see the specialist. They did another ultra sound and next week she goes for an amniocentesis test to rule out any genetic disorders. The baby has bright intestines which is a soft marker for trisomy 21 (downs syndrome). The doctor said in most cases it doesn't mean anything is wrong, but they want to be sure. This pregnancy thus far has been a roller coaster for her. I keep praying everything is going to be fine and at least after having the amnio we will know for sure.

100 miles in 100 days fitness challenge
I was going by this statement that the op posted. I have no idea about swimming and how 20 minutes of this equates to other exercises. I can run 1 mile in 13:00, so I will be using my actual mileage as opposed to the 20 minute time frame quoted.

Free of Sugar Free
I don't like stevia either!! I prefer splenda, but I don't use very much. Most stuff I just drink unsweetned.

I can relate!! Some people definitely require more grace. Thank God for the extra measure that is given to us just for times such as these. I bet the food was enjoyed by everyone!!

100 miles in 100 days fitness challenge
I would think 20 minutes of swimming would just count as 1 mile.

That is too bad. I understand that the WFPB way of eating is not something everyone wants to do, but they should just support your decision and at the very least keep their opinions to themselves. Sometimes we just have to exercise our patience muscles.

Free of Sugar Free
I use a little splenda in my coffee ( 1/2-1 teaspoon). I just try to keep anything I eat at 6-10g of sugar per serving.

(Pre-op ??) Anyone Notice the More You Eat, The Hungrier You Get?
I think your metabolism is making a comeback. I don't think it is healthy to consume sub 800 calories for an extended period of time. I know WLS is an exception, but I still worked hard to get to 1000 calories as soon as I could.

Improvement in cracked heels!
I have rosecea on my nose. It has been much better since surgery with fewer instances of outbreaks. Stress makes it worse. I am currently having an outbreak, but I have had fewer lately.
