Please help...need reality check! Slipping up!
I think one way to help you stay on track is to always have good healthy food choices available. Pack your lunch and prepare your dinner. Bring snacks with you to work. You can do this. Don't give up!!! Just get right back to eating the way you need to.

Advice
I don't think you look sickly at all. You have not reached a normal BMI yet for your height so I would keep on losing if that's what you want to do. Dont let others opinions dictate what you do. People get used to seeing us overweight and they don't know what a healthy weight looks like.

I'm trying not to get discouraged
I love your attitude. I would start exercising now. Find an activity that you really like doing so it will be easy for you to make a habit of it. I know diet is 80% of losing weight, but getting fit has so many physical and mental benefits to our health that I think it is a very important aspect.

May 15th, 2017 Sleevers Check in Here!!!
Believe it or not I switched to Flintstones complete chewable. I take 3 per day and I don't get nauseous. They are inexpensive and the best part I can handle them. I tried to switch to a pill form, but I kept chocking on it and they were awful ?

I think I'm ready! [emoji848]
Maybe it is different for you, but for VSG it is 30 minutes before eating and 30 minutes after, for drinking. If it was 1 hour you would never have enough time to drink enough fluids. I would ask for clarification on this from your doctor.

My sleeve is too big
For those of you that are consuming so much more than 4oz at a time so early out, are you measuring the 4oz out onto your plate so you don't eat more? I think you should stop at the correct amount and then make sure you are getting the correct amounts of fluids. If you are still hungry make sure you are taking your acid reducer. It could be just head hunger. remember just because you can eat more doesn't mean you should.

I think I'm ready! [emoji848]
Congrats on quitting smoking!!! That is such a great accomplishment and I am sure your body is thanking you. It sounds like you have all your bases covered. Be prepared for your tastes to change after surgery. I had the VSG so I know that is different then your procedure, but it might be similar. I couldn't drink cold fluids for the first 2-3 weeks. They did not feel good going down so if you have problems try room temp or warm. Just keep sipping so you can stay hydrated. I wish you good luck and blessings for a easy recovery.

Fell off the walking wagon
I second the suggestion to get up early and do your workout. If I didn't run before work I am sure there would be many days where I just wouldn't feel like doing it after. It really does give me more energy and I feel so much better on the days I run.

Going home
That is great. Continued healing for you.

9 month update

Proteinaholic by Dr Garth Davis
@Newme17 and @fruitandveggies I was going to bring up this very subject. I have been reading The Omnivore's Dilemma, and it describes in detail the food production and it touches on both the environmental and cruelty aspects. I am a big animal lover. My chickens live like queens and have the run of my backyard everyday. I get so sad when I see the trucks with the chickens stuffed in the cages and I think about the miserable lives they all had. I am going to watch both of those documentaries.

May 15th, 2017 Sleevers Check in Here!!!
I forget to take mine a couple days a week too. I think with the nutritious foods we are eating it isn't gonna hurt us in the long run. I have been stressed the past few days myself, but I am working on just letting some things slide and not getting all worked up. Life is too short and we need to be happy and be blessed!!!

May 15th, 2017 Sleevers Check in Here!!!
This was a hard month so you have to give yourself some grace. You have done great overall and definitely should be proud We are all going to have those weeks. Mine was the camping trip back at the beginning of August. A week away from home and my regular routine and foods. I actually gained 2 pounds, but they came right back off after a few days at home. It is the overall averages that matter because our weight loss is not linear.

Surgery was the EASY part
I have so much compassion for those of you dealing with food addictions. It really does get easier once you can eat solid foods. Once the NSC victories start piling up your motivation will keep you moving in the right direction. I know once I realized I could run there was no way I was going to do anything to sabotage my weight loss. Just stay focused on the finish line.
